Brought my beloved Les Paul in to be strung and was very impressed that the Owner came out of nowhere and took care of the repair immediately. Had a wonderful conversation while he was completing the task and was amazed with his knowledge of Vintage Guitars and most importantly Les Paul. If they don't have sheet music they can download it instantly! The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. Our music studio is in Indio which is just a short distance from their Palm Desert location and thats much better than other store all the way out in Cathedral City or even Palm Springs. Extremely limited selection, horribly overpriced. Most people only buy from this place in an emergency and/or because there's no one else in town. If you have time, save yourself a ton of money and order online or drive to the nearest Guitar Center. You'll come out way ahead either way. more

Musician's Outlet is a local music shop mainly guitars, but like most music instrument shops they have other instruments such as drums, bass, pianos, etc. Besides the musical instruments they have music books from notation, theory to biographies to magazines. They have selection of old vinyl discs as well as new CDs. They have a vast range of accessories from countless amounts of manufacturers. For a local shop it's the best. Last time I went in to fix my Fender Strat they took no longer than 20 mins. to replace the strings, replace my tunning knobs and cleaned the guitar (asking for my consent but did it for free). They have a practice room to test out the best and latest guitars on numerous guitar amps size and amp range varrying. For guitarists and musicians alike beginners to experts the place feels comforting. You'll come out with smile on your face. When I go to guitar shops I look for what I want but I also look for they're service. If any employee is rude I refrain from entering the shop again. Musicians Outlet workers have always been friendly and have always been helpful while giving you space to do what you'd like. I'm glad we have a Music Instrument shop like Musicians Outlet. more
