Thank you Nashville Pet Crematory you guys are awesome 8/4/2011

We lost our best friend early on a Sunday morning, we called other pet memorial services but we could not get them to call us back. Nashville Pet Crematory was open on Sunday, and we were able to have our dog Robo, taken care of. We were treated with dignity and respect, and Josh helped us select an urn, and he had it engraved with Robo's picture. I cannot say how fortunate we were to have found Nashville Pet Crematory, if you have to deal with the loss of a pet, these are the people you want to deal with. more

Steh Presley/Nashville Pet Crematory 1/31/2010

My beloved Napoleon, a 19 yr old Miniature Dachshund was taken to Nash Pet Crem Friday 01/29/10 @ 2:30 P.M. I paid the $125.00 cash to Seth Presley, an apparent manager @ the facility, and I was told Napoleon would be ready to be picked up @ 1:00 P.M. on Sunday 01/31/10. I called to say I was running late, and Seth answered the phone, and much to my dismay, he clearly didn't know what I was talking about period. Napoleon was NOT cremated Friday, and NO ONE even bothered to call me (within a 48 hr period) to explain why the cremation had NOT been completed. I understand about weather problems, roads maybe closed, but phones are available...for a ""common coutsey"" call to the grieving family. When I expressed my frustration over how UNPROFESSIONAL way this was handled, I was told by Seth Presley, ""I've heard enough of your mouth!!"" When I made them show up @ the office to retrieve my baby boy and get my money back...I went into the office for an apology of how this whole mess was handled...Seth Presley told me to get the f@#* out of the office and once again, he's heard all of my mouth that he wants to hear!!' Threatened to call the Police when I wouldn't leave...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OUTFIT!! I pray that NO ONE else has to go through what I went through during my time of loss. Grieving people DO NOT DESERVE this kind of treatment. I will do whatever is necessary to spread the word about how they conduct what they call a sympathetic business...what a joke!! Pros: Absolutely NOTHING!! Cons: Should be shut down!! more

Do Not Go Here If You Ever Loved Your Pet 11/8/2009

My husband and I were completely devastated when we realized we were going to have to let our beloved Schnauzer of 15 years pass. As difficult a decision as it was we were drawn to a lovely website for pet cremation with Nashville Pet Crematory. Unfortunately, the website was completely misleading. We decided to drop by on Sunday afternoon to discuss possible cremation on Monday. First we arrived at this metal warehouse type building and the door was open with no one to greet grieving families. There were bottles of all kinds of chemicals sitting around which were disturbing enough but then I finally found a rather surly man sitting at a desk. We tried to ask questions and he shoved a pamphlet at us without explaining anything. It was obvious he did not want to be there and he offered no semblance of sympathy. Anyone could see we were in great pain and when I was inquiring about how I could be reassured that my beloved dog would have an individual cremation this hideous excuse for a human being very abruptly told me that if I didn't trust the way they did business I could take my business somewhere else. This is absolutely no way to run a business and certainly not one which deals with grief stricken people. I cannot believe these people also handle human cremations for funeral homes. There is nothing human or humane about them. Pros: Absolutely Nothing Cons: Extremely unprofessional and totally uncaring more

These folks are professional and caring. Don't just let the vet send our pet out and wait 2 weeks 6/10/2008

This was my first experience with Nashville Pet Crematory. Several months ago I lost my dog and the folks at the vet offered to take care of him. I let them but little did I know that his body would be held for 2 weeks and then sent out and he was cremated with many other dogs, they gave me some ashes but I don't think they were his, too little for a 70 lb lab mix. After some research I decided to have my other dog cremated at Nashville Pet Crematory. They were kind and helpful, and their fees were much more reasonable than the Vet. I had the crematory pick my dog up, and they performed the cremation and I had Blaze's ashes back the same day. This business is operated by real funeral directors, they were open and honest about everything. I highly reccomend them Pros: Very professional, licensed funeral directors Cons: A little hard to find, but easy enough more
