Music City Movers

I will start by saying that the day was very hot and muggy, so it isn't too surprising that things moved a little more slowly than they might otherwise. That said, I am thoroughly disgusted with how things went with Music City Movers to the point where I'm taking time to write this review. So they showed up at 9:15, they were finished loading the home by 12:45. Now keep in mind, this is a two bedroom condo, and three guys working. Alright, fine, whatever. They took a break for lunch, and showed up at the house (10 miles away) at around 3:30 PM. The driver said they took an hour and 15 for lunch, and the rest was driving time.... yeah buddy, whatever. They didn't finish up until 7:00 PM. By the end of it, two would be standing around talking and one guy would be carrying like two couch cushions inside. One of the guys had to have been in his 60's, and he wasn't even the slowest one! The other guy, the one they called ""fat boy"", looked like he was on the verge of passing out the entire time. Only one of the three actually looked like he had any business working for a moving company. The only positive thing I can say is that they were careful and they seemed to know what they were doing. But they also knew how to pad a bill and that's exactly what they did. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, even if you have to pay more per hour go with another moving company, they will save you money in the long run. Awesome movers! My husband I have moved several times, and these are the best movers yet. Like others have said, there was no standing around. They were very diligent. They stayed in good spirits throughout a hectic move. These guys have been working together for many years, and Larry the owner was one of the movers. What makes them stand out from the others is the care that they gave to my furniture. They inspected each piece and wrapped it properly. Each piece was examined as it was unloaded as well. I used Music City Movers some very sentimental and old furniture. These men were careful, kind, professional, and extremely hard working. There was no standing around. They got right to work and stayed moving(pun). My furniture was well taken care of. I would use them again .....and again. Also, I would recommend them to my most particular friends. I've used this company several weeks ago (November 2009). I was amazed with the workers and owners. They worked very hard. They offered a lot of thoughtfulness with the care of my items during load and unload. The workers were dedicated to getting the job done...and done right. I have used this moving company 2 times in the last 5 years and both times they were fast, very careful with our belongings and furniture. From what I have seen they don't have the constant turnover with their crew's that alot of other moving company's do. I have been very pleased with their work and prices. Highly Recomended!! I have used these movers several times now and don't have a single complaint. They take good care of your belongings and inspect every piece for damage before they pick it up and go over any scratches, dents, etc with you. Will definately use these guys again in the future. I discovered this ""treasure"" when attending show at The Listening Room at Cummins Station. There was this truck with the company logo on the side. One thing led to another, with an easily accommodated schedule change included, and I could not be a more satisfied customer. Larry, the owner, said his truck would be at the location at 9:15a. At 9:12a, the phone rang informing me that the truck and 3 capable men were nearing the address, about 2 minutes away. The gentlemen (and the term applies) were courteous, efficient, careful and professional in every way. The men from Music City Movers were friendly, considerate, hardworking, and responsible. They arrived on time, they worked non-stop, they did their best to keep our costs low and made sure to communicate with us on every detail of their work. They were patient with our kids, and our heavy furniture. They even laughed at our jokes. They were careful with our fragile items and took care not to scratch, dent or mar any of our nicer furniture pieces. We noticed the day after the move that we were missing some bed rail pieces for our guest bed. They called soon after and said they had found them on the truck and VOLUNTEERED to drive them to Mt. These movers were awesome! They came prepared for rain. They helped us load our own Uhaul. It was worth every penny. Super courteous. Nothing broke. They wiped their feet. They cleaned out our truck at the end. When there was mud, they built a path of boxes over the mud. When we couldn't get the truck up our steep drive way, they helped back it in. They never complained about the walk up our hill. We were ripped off by two other moving companies in town and would never choose anyone except Music City Movers again. They helped on the load and unload and both crews/days were equally as excellent! Go local for your local moves! It was the best money we spent on our move. more

I used Music City Movers to pack and move our family this year while my husband was in Baghdad. They are a family owned local business. The crew was very experienced...all but one had been in the moving business for approx. 15-20 years. They were very courteous, friendly, and above all professional. They moved very quickly.
