Museum To The Tenth 8/21/2005

This art museum has featured many wonderful exhibits in the past few years. The overall design and architecture of the building is quite astounding and comforting. The atmosphere inside the Fine Arts Museum is so silently awe-inspiring that it makes me happy and tingle whenever I look at paintings. more

The Museum of Fine Arts Houston hosts a continuous flow of art shows that educate and expose us to the best in human creation, from the very earliest religious and cult artifacts to the modern masterpieces of recent artists and living masters. The Museum now enjoys a whole new building where the collection can sprawl out and radiate the glory of creative genius. Recent years have seen more and more inspired shows of modern and contemporary artists. The curators are doing great work there. Museum goers will be truly satisfied. more

Beautiful. 8/20/2005

This place holds so many beautiful paintings. Sometimes famous paintings like starry night gets shipped here for an exhibit. The admission is one low fee to get it. It's worth every penny. You can learn so much about art. Your kids can volunteer here also. Great way to explore and learn so much. more

Not on Saturday! 8/19/2005

I really suggest you don't go there on Saturday as we did if you don't want to get a bad experience like the one we had. It took 3 hours of standing before we could barely seen any art over others people shoulder. I missed many pieces as there were too many people there at the same time. Next time I will attend during week days, trying to avoid the crowds. more
