Murrayville Veterinary Clinic

We started using Murrayville Vet when we first moved to Gainesville, over 18 years ago. There is NO OTHER PLACE we trust when it comes to caring for our pets. Each doctor there treats our four dogs as if they are the only ones in their care. With a retired racing Greyhound and two Italian Greys, we cannot take them to just any doctor. The doctors at Murrayville Vet have the expertise needed to care for them. Before they do any treatment, they do the proper research to see how the sensitive systems Greyhounds have will be affected. Even our terrier, who hates to ride in the car, enjoys visiting the gang there. We highly recommend them.\r About a year ago, we had to say goodbye to another retired racer, Rush. The care and sympathy provided by the doctors and staff was absolutely amazing. During his final hours, the doctor kept in constant contact with us, even after hours, to keep us updated on his condition. They are by far THE best vets in northeast Georgia. I have used several vets around the Gainesville area and they have not even come close to the care and love this furbaby clinic has. The cost is significantly lower than other clinics and they provide the treatment necessary, not just to make money. I have had two animals pass at this shelter and I was so appreciative each time. A wonderful card with comments and signed by the staff was sent to me in sympathy after my cats had passed. I go out of my way to recommend them to anyone with animals. more

I've used Murrayville Vet since 1994. Great care, nice facility. All vet prices seem high to me and they are no exception, but they do things well. Only have had one negative experience in all that time, and it was due to an assistant's difficulty with getting a vein on the first try for a shot. I can forgive that compared to good care for many years. more

We began taking our babies to Murrayville Vet at the recommendation of other clients. We had the good fortune of Dr. White treating our 14 yr old blind pug and giving him the most wonderful, compassionate care during the last phase of his life. During this time, we've become involved with a rescue group and we take our foster pugs to them as well as the ones that own us. All the vets have treated our babies but we always request Dr. White or Dr. Johnson if available. Very caring, compassionate and a genuine concern of the health and well being of the animal is something you will find in every employee here. They will also meet you at the clinic for emergency no matter what time it is or what day of the week. The staff they have share the goal of making sure everyone feels welcome and takes excellent care of you and will never turn you away because they're too busy! There will not be another vet for our babies. Highly recommended! 5 stars is not enough! more

Have been using Dr. White and her team for over 20 yrs. A very professional, friendly and caring staff. We have boarded all of our pets here, take them for yearly visits, and unfortunately had to have a couple pets put to sleep. They are a very thorough and compassionate group. Highly recommend them. more

I have been bringing my sheltie and my "special blend" shepherd/chow mix to the Murrayville Clinic for about six months now and am so delighted that they were recommended to me. All the doctors I've met so far (and all of the staff) have been incredibly kind to the animals. My sheltie has to be shaved in the warm months due to allergies and the fact that she is very susceptible to skin infections. When the groomer brought her out to me, my sheltie was just adorable. She had groomed her so that the fur around her head was in correct proportion to her body. Other groomers had never done that and she had looked out of balance. Overall, I can't say enough about how excellent they are. I, too, drive a long way to get there but it is well worth it. more

We have been clients of Murrayville Vet for about 4 months now and I can tell they are going to be our vets for life. I can walk in any time during office hours and be seen which is a plus with kids and life in general. The support staff is so friendly. Customer service is job #1 and it shows. When the vet came in to see my furbaby, Sophie, she actually got on the floor to help alleviate my little girl's anxiety. It was the sweetest thing to watch her coax Sophie out from under my legs. Aww, so nice. We go tomorrow to get her fixed and I'm sure that all will go well and her care will be top notch. And did I mentioned? Very affordable. I have gone to vets who charged 3x the price and you could tell that the $ was why they were in it. It is evident from start to finish that Murrayville vets really care about our babies. They are so good I drive 45 minutes each way and wouldn't dream of taking her anywhere else. SO GLAD I FOUND THEM!!! more

I Just moved to Gainesville last month and had to take my 6 month old puppy to get his shots i was amazed at the price. I would recomend them to anyone who needs a vet for their pet. I loved the Vet and also the office staff. I will continue to take my little baby to them. I have been to vets before many times and this was the first pleasent visit i have had. so thank you to all of the staff. more

We have been clients since 1992. Dr. White primary because of our cats. SHE IS WONDERFUL. The other vets are too and they are kind and gentle to the animals. The office staff is wonderful too. I have recommended them to MANY friends, and some have used them. All we have is praises for them all. The vets and the workers in there. more

Dr. White has been our vet for at least 15 years. She is without a doubt the best vet we have ever had. She was recommended to us by a vet on staff at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Sandy Springs. All the doctors on staff at Murrayville Veterinary Clinic are excellent, the staff behind the counter and in the back are all delightful people. Everyone there loves animals and it shows in the care your furbabies receive. I would recommend them to anyone in the North Georgia area who is searching for pet care. more

I have been going to the Murrayville Veterinary Clinic for about 6 yrs now. My experiences have always been excellent and my expectations have always been exceeded. I don't hesitate to recommend them. Although I have moved over 1 hour away from the clinic, I still take my little girl Shih Tzu, Crystal, to Dr. White for her care. Crystal is 17 yrs old (human yrs). I have had pets for over 30 yrs and Dr. White is the best veterinarian I have ever had the good fortune to go to. By the way, she was recommended by another owner as a very good vet. more
