My fiancé and I were involved in a very violent crime while living in Stillwater Oklahoma. We hired James Murray in October of 2012 and today I received a phone call that he has the statute of limitations pass on our case to file for intent. He then went on to say that he has barely done any work on our case ( over a year later) and he is not sure he can represent us because of a possible conflict ( why over a year later? ). He supposedly send me a letter in May explaining said conflict and then called in late August to see if I received the letter and to check up on everything ( ( nearly 4 months later!) Ladies and gentlemen, Do Not hire this man. He has not done anything in over a year except let the statute of limitations pass on filing. As well, I had called the office at least 6 times in 5 months and only received one phone call back and was promised our case was moving and doing good. You will waste your time and energy and possibly lose everything you hired him to fight for. I have no idea what my fiancé and I are supposed to do now but we have James Murray and associates to thank for the feeling of hopelessness and abandonment. more
