Best

This is my favorite place to go for sushi. My husband and I almost always sit at the sushi bar. The staff is great and the food is even better. And they have great wine portions :)

Satisfied & coming back 2/18/2011

I recently visited murasaki for the first time. I bought a groupon.com coupon and It was a great deal. $20 for $40 off my bill. They had the same one at living social a little while ago. groupon gets more exposure I guess.\r \r When I got there I noticed it was in a strip mall next to a gas station. weird? but when I got inside it looked great! Much better than what it shows from the outside. \r \r I sat at the sushi bar (by myself) and got a nice plate of salad. The hot towel is very nice on a cold winter day. I ordered sake which came in a bottle that was SO HOT it almost burned me.\r \r I ordered a california roll, murasaki roll, white tuna, tako (octopus), and Las Vegas roll. The sush was first rate very high quality. The Las Vegas was deep fried and VERY TASTY! YUM. The white tuna and tako was fresh and the murasaki roll was wrapped in crunch, I LOVE crunch rolls and this is one of the best I've had.\r They use real crab legs and not fake crab like other places I been before more

outstanding 1/29/2010

Outstanding sushi. The product and fish are always very fresh. THey have an oustanding menu, and the new addition that they put on with the hibachi grills are great. We have never had a bad experience! more

Great sushi! 1/27/2010

A friend took me here for sushi once and it is some of the best that I have had in the midwest! The service was great and the food was fantastic....worth the drive, even from Saint Michael. more

food and wait staff great host the worst 6/15/2008

How else do you put this food and chief are great the waiter is one of the best I have seen in a while. But the host I think may be owner just a real pain in the but. They cooked the food just great, one person at the table had food alergiesand he worked though it great. I can not say enough about the waiter just went over and above most or all I have seen. The thing is that the host a man with silver hair if he is the owner also is just a big pain in the but. Nobody should have to put up with his behavor. Not in a place that you pay for there serves and food. again food and waiter great just would not go back if the host is there again. He just can leave a bad taste in anybodies mouth just an _ _ _ whole. Pros: food and waiter great Cons: host is one of the worst ever more

Great teppanyaki 12/3/2007

Ten of us went for teppanyaki on Friday night and can higly recommend it! The food was great, our chef was very entertaining and still has all his fingers! Between the ten of us we had lots of variety and sampled a good variety of entrees. All of them were just right. \r The only thing we found strange were the menu entrees ""for two"". For instance, the lobster and steak for two was about $55, but there wan an additional $10 charge for a 2nd plate. What??? By definition, isn't an ""entree for two"" going to be served to two people? Why add a $10 charge? Why not have the $10 in the menu price - so strange. \r Anyway, we really enjoyed the meal, the friendly service and the atmosphere. They have only two teppanyaki tables, so reservations are highly recommended. We were seated promptly, and when the next group's reservation came up, we were gently asked to open up the table for them. We did have plenty of time to eat a relaxed meal, we were not rushed at all. Plenty of tables for from-the-menu dining, and a decent bar. \r The restaurant is in a small strip-mal, but don't let that put you off. We will be back.\r \r Pros: service, quality/quantity of food, semi-private room, Cons: extra plate charge when you order a menu entree that is ""for two"" more
