The goal of Munchkin Movement is to provide high quality swim programs which foster the physical, intellectual, and social development of toddlers, preschoolers, and young school age children.
Using a safe, creative, and playful atmosphere, children will be encouraged to practice age appropriate fine and gross motor skills. Social skills such as following directions, waiting your turn, helping and respecting others, and using good manners will be reinforced in each class.
Program Basics:
Munchkin Movement school-year programs consist of 30 minute classes held on a weekly basis. Sessions during the school year run between 5 to 8 weeks in length. Summer programs are held on a variety of schedules and vary from one week to six weeks in duration.
Instructor Experience:
Katherine Schwab, the owner and sole instructor for Munchkin Movement, grew up loving to swim. Katherine has been sharing her passion for swimming for over 15 years, working with children and adults of all experience levels.
She has taught lessons for children and adults as well as coached both swim teams and triathlon teams. Katherine holds a certification as a Total Immersion Coach and uses these principles when she works with children, as well.. * Swimming Lessons
