Outstanding Attorney 5/26/2010

If you need help in a custody case, family case, restraining order this is the attorney to hire! I hired him for a custody case in which my wife is in the military and she tried to play the restraining order trick. He took care of me, he is very professional, compassionate, and commited. As for the restraining order got denied and now I have been seen my children again regularly (with the help of a judge order that I requested so that my wife could not play tricks on me). Now I got a mediation hearing for parenting plan, if we have to go infron t of a judge I am sure he will have the best results possible! I feel safe! Pros: Experienced and Comitted! I hired this guy for a custody case with my ex-wife. In the end we reached an amicable resolution. I agree with the other two reviews that he wasn't the cheapest but then again in a custody case do you want to have the lowest bidder representing you? more

Great Lawyer! Multiple experiences with them! 2/29/2008

I read the prior review about this law firm and disagree entirely! One of my close family members had a very highly contested divorce and we were recommended to this law firm as being one of the best in the area. The rates are not the cheapest because you're paying for highly-experienced legal representation. However, we were billed exactly what we expected to be. I also want to mention that when we went to court Mitchell easily out-argued the other lawyer. The poor guy looked like a rookie compared to our lawyer! We won our case and my family is very happy because of it. Pros: We won our cases! Very smart law firm! Cons: Missed finding the office the first trip! more

AVoid this lawyer at all cost. He lied to me initially about the potential fees. I ended up paying triple what he initially told me. He also represented me very poorly in my custody case. I am a great mom and my ex got a great lawyer and thus got what he wanted while I was left with no results and big legal fees. He also gave me bad advice just so he could make more money off of me. IN addition, he would say that he worked a zillion hours on my case while I knew he worked on it a few minutes. You are better off representing yourself than by him. I consulted another lawyer and they reviewed his work and fees and agreed that this guy cheated me. more
