I have a new kitten and an older cat, both have been seen by MVH since I adopted them - I wouldn't go anywhere else. The vets and staff truly care about their patients and their patients ""parents"". I LOVE this Vet!!! more

I've had multiple dogs who have all been patients at MVH. The doctors and support staff have always gone above and beyond for us! From nail trims to annual exams and beyond, the techs and Dr. Dahl and Dr. Chatterton are exceptional. We love MVH! more

I have been taking my pets to Mukilteo Vet since 1997 and have found the staff to be knowledgeable and caring. I love the doctors and staff as they are always there when I need them. I've never been turned away when I've called up, they always squeeze me in. Doctor Crockett, Dr. Dahl, and Dr. Chatterson are wonderful with my Kerry and are willing to get down on the floor at her level. The gals at the front desk are respectful and make you feel very welcome when you walk in the door. The Doctors also stay current on the latest medical information. Mukilteo Vet has laser therapy for their clients which works on my 11 year dog's back to manage her pain without medication. I highly recommend Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital to anyone who wants top notch care for their pets. more

I love this vet office. I can never say enough good things about these guys. They are very caring, thoughtful, understanding and always helpful! When you walk in the door, or call on the phone Kirsten or Melanie almost always know who you are and who your pet is. It is very refreshing to know that they care as much as you do about your pet and always treat your pet with the utmost care. They will get down on the floor with your pet and love on them and also try to make your pet feel as safe and cared for as they can. I have a special needs dog and have been to 5 other vets offices. In her 4 years of life she has had to have her leg reconstructed, a cornea repaired, she has severe allergies, dry eyes, and one emergency . Dr Dahl has always listened to my concerns and always tried to help. When my pup had an emergency they treated her as a high priority and fit her in an already full schedule. I can call or stop by at any time and ask questions and they never treat me as if I am bothering them. I am never overcharged as I have been by other vets offices, in fact they will go to great lengths to help you find ways of getting the best care and best advice for the least amount of money. I could go on and on about Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital. Give them a call or stop by, trust me you will not be disappointed and best of all you will have a vet staff that will care and take out the time to make you and your pet feel as though you are of highest importance for the life of your pets. I was referred to Mukilteo Veterinary Hospital by a neighbor after I had visited several other veterinary clinics in the area and had left each feeling very dissatisfied with the care offered to my dogs. I felt very comfortable the minute that I walked into their facility and met the staff. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction and I was happy to find out that the doctors actually provided care on site and did not refer everything out to specialists as the other clinics had. All three of the doctors have treated my pugs and I have found each one to be professional, knowledgeable and caring. Dr Chatterson was an excellent advocate for us recently when we had to visit a local veterinary emergency facility. The entire staff is helpful and I am never made to feel that I am a bother to them. I have never felt overcharged for any service provided and have never left there with any unanswered questions. I highly recommend this Veterinary provider!!! more

I have been going to this veterinary for close to 20 years - they have done an excellent job helping me with all of my pet needs - from minor things like annual shots to major when the pet needs to be put to sleep... They do an excellent job!!! I really appreciate the doctors and the staff at this animal hospital - they are very caring, consider, understanding and helpful! They have helped me through some difficult times when I had to put a pet down. They really cared for both my pet and me. I thank them for the awesome support and service!!! more

I recently moved to the area from a place where I'd had the same vet for 20 years. I first tried an ""exclusive"" veterinary hospital/spa but was appalled at both their charges and their level of professionalism. I asked around and heard about Mukilteo. These docs are great! Their charges seem reasonable to me, and they respond to my endless questions. Their treatments have been great, and they are willing to discuss options without seeming judgment. I have read the negative reviews and feel as though those instances could happen at any hospital. more

So my Best Freind was showing signs of senior arthritis, and so we go to this place, and she is put on Rimadyl. the Doctor says there are some risk with high doses for long times, but we put her on half of the lowest dose available, and said we would monitor her progress. They never called to check how she was doing, did not schedule rechecks or suggest periodic blood work. So the pills are $120.00 a month and 7 months into the treatment, she is uncomfortable, not eating or drinking, the second day of these signs we go in, and $260.00 later, they send us home with prescription canned dog food. She wont eat! the next day we go back, $203.00 and still no explanation, not once did they say STOP the Rimadyl. And she was still not eating or drinking, day 3, time for a second opinion, we find out from the new vet, her liver enzymes are 479 (normal 5 to 100) and STOP the rimadyl, she may now have liver damage. Not only is Mukilteo Vet Hospital way expensive, they take your pet in the back and present you with the bill for payment before bringing your pet to you! You pay high dollar prices for lab tests and all you get to see are handwritten scribbles on note book paper...Dont go there!!!! more

I brought my puppy shih-tzu to have his breathing checked out, and the doctor (Dr. Crockett) was very considerate with my concern - although he insisted my dog was going to be alright. Turns out my dog needed to have an operation and they took whatever cares possible to make sure I knew what was happening and why the operation was necessary. The recovery period for my dog was so short, and his breathing afterward was flawless. I cannot commend enough the peace of mind Dr Crockett brought me with his professionalism, care for my concerns, gentleness with my dog, and commitment to excellence! We have brought our dogs and cats here for the last 10 years. Dr. Crockett and Dr. Dahl have seen us through cancer of our beloved golden with more compassion than you could ever expect, and various other illness as well as preventative care for dogs and cats, even doing frequent research to make sure the care was up to the minute. We have always had personable service from the doctors, the techs and sweet ladies up front. They have been there through puppyhood with advice and knoweldge. The latest addition of Dr. Chatterson is very welcome, as even my ""bad cat"" who hates most every doctor loved him. He charmed her as well as ourselves. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility. We brought our dog in for the first time the staff was helped us fill out all our paperwork quickly and answered all of our questions, even where the best dog parks in the area where (complete with directions). Dr. Chatterson was so great, he walked in and got down on the floor and sat there with our dog as she jumped all over him. They are all so sweet and friendly and really make your animal and you feel very welcomed. When we were leaving they told us to make sure and ""drop by"" to say hello sometime. My dog is very aggressive towards men and the vet handled him very well. The staff treated me with kindness and respect even though my dog was unrulely. They even cleaned up the mess he made.!! I give two thumbs up!! more

We cannot recommend this facility. We took a completely healthy animal in to be neutered. We were notified I hour later that the dog had ""life shortening"" issues and that there was major concerns. After 8 hours of pure emotional hades we were told that the dog was fine and that just the lab facilities/tests were in error. Given the grief caused the staff at the hospital indicated all charges would be waived. After a week of hassling with various individuals at the hospital less than 50% of the charges were reduced. It seemed like it was all about money and not about customer concern. more

Front office staff is rude. Have been going there for years however after last visit I had had enough. I had shared my opinion with the physician and next time I had called received the same poor service from front desk. more
