Fresh Baked Breads & Buns 2/5/2008

I really like this little bakery. I first discovered them when I wanted to bring some dessert to a dinner party that I was attending. We were all impressed with their baked items. This is one of my favorite places to get fresh baked bread in Chicago. All their breads are freshly baked on the premises on the same day and you never end up with that stale, supermarket bread. It smells so delicious in this place. more

I used to love going to this tiny little bakery. They had the best fresh baked products. You could choose from a variety of fresh baked cookies, cakes, and sweet and salty party mixes. This old man used to work here and he was always really nice and offered samples of his fresh baked goods UNTIL one day I showed up here and saw a sign on the front door that said: "Shut down temporarity by the FDA for unsanitary conditions," Never have I gone back since then. more
