Good service with INTEGRITY 6/7/2011

An honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold. Took my car to MufflerMania, and told THEM I needed a new catalytic converter, because thats the diagnosis I got at a national franchise shop. They told ME, nothing wrong with the cat itself, the weld housing it came apart, and they could weld it back together, just pay for labor. They knew they could have jacked me for the part plus labor, I was expecting a $600-$700 bill.... instead they saved me HUNDREDS of dollars. Only way to thank em is to send more business their way. This professional, competent, friendly, family-run shop gets my highest recommendation! more

Jim is NOT so great 7/26/2009

In spring of '04 I took my work van to Jim for brake repairs. I went back the next day to pick it up but it was not there. It had been stolen from his lot because he left the keys in it overnight. My van was recovered 2 weeks later but all of my tools had been stolen, $6000.00 worth. Jim never reported the incident to his insurance or compensated me for my loss. 5 years later I have paid off a new truck and replaced my tools thanks to Jims incompetence and lack of morals. What's the old saying? CAVEAT EMPTOR! Buyer beware! Pros: Nice guy Cons: No morals more

jim is great. I broke down in Glouester city. Called Jim, he recommended a tow, had my car fixed. Did not take advantage of my situation. Stands behind his work. Pros: stands behind their work, fair prices more
