Finally, a coffee shop on Staten Island worthy of the east village. Good coffee, cheaper-than-Starbucks prices, shabby vintage furniture chic, local artists' work for sale on the walls, and a great connecting performance room with a jam packed schedule with everything from hometown-made film screenings to Marshall Crenshaw. A computer terminal with internet access. A tv corner for group watching of your favorite shows. Also a lively flirt singles scene of all ages, but especially 20s & 30s.
Take a tip from me, a coffee addict usually, but take a break from coffee, and try some of their flavored hot chocolates...especially in the winter.
We need more of these kind of coffee shops in SI - about 50 more.
