Mud & Metal is a very unique boutique located on the Avenue in Hampden. Much like it's surrounding area, Mud & Metal carries art and giftware with an interesting combination of kitsch and cool. If you're looking for a gift for the person who's got everything, this may be a place to come--they carry all sorts of weird things from drawer handles to humorous cards. It's always a fun trip, even if you're just browsing. more

Quirky Fixtures and Accessories 2/6/2006

Mud and Metal is a wonderful shop to browse in downtown Hampden, but I don't recall making many purchases here. They've got some unique, handmade furniture fixtures, like drawer pulls, doorknobs, and handles. Jewelry is also modern and funky; great for gift giving. Prices run a little on the high side, but that's the price you pay for one-of-a-kind work. more
