Mucho Mas

This is good Mexican food. Nice atmosphere. Has lots of seating options because it's so big. parking can be awkward but there's ample of it. I've only been here once so the food wasn't good enough to make me want to return. They rely on cheese and I can't eat it. It was all fresh. Just better places to go for me. more

This my favorite place for authentic Mexican food and margaritas. The food is always good and has that homecooked taste. My favorite is the chicken tortilla soup. It's chock full of potatoes, cheese, veggies, and a rich chicken broth. I've never had bad service here, the wait staff and host are always friendly. Sometimes it can be a little crowded but if you get here around 7 pm you should be able to get a table without much of a wait. more

As soon as I ate my last bite, I was asked to leave because they ""needed the table."" The food was just ok. But the service was awful. more

Lucky for me, my cousin lives around the corner from this place. Otherwise how would I have ever been introduced to one of the only reasons to get me over the hill- Mucho Mas House Margarita! I know you thinking house, ugh why not upgrade to a Cadillac but seriously at this place you do not have to. This margarita has a light sweet and fresh sour taste with out having that pre-made mass produced flavor and with a very healthy shot of tequila you are ready to take your time looking at the menu and pondering the feast you are about to eat. Yum yum! The margaritas alone are enough to make this drive but then add the amazing food and reliable service and it becomes a true destination. I came here with my wife because it looked like a real authentic mexican food place and we were happy with our decision of eating here. The food is great, the service is quick, and the price is VERY affordable. I recommend Mucho Mas! Pros: Great-tasting food more

How sad,we really like the food,but your food server,is just so unfriendly and just plain rude,my family will not be coming back this is the 6th time and everytime,we encounter this rude food carrier,we were in today Feb 2 at about 2:30 in afternoon,so for us,she is rude and we just simply will go to Barrigans where we are treated nice when we go out and spend our hard earned money on good food.The Parking at your Restarunt is awful,but if the food server was nice we could deal with that.sorry my review is bad,but seems the only Lady food person is just as bad as this review,maybe this will do you some good for your buisness,but maybe you are fine as is,thats your Buisness,but poor service is not my idea of a good time eating out,so we will be on our way to other nice eating places.P.S do you only have 1 lady food server in the day?,we have tryed to sit with other waiters,but even when we move from the bar area to front of the restarunt,we still have the same lady bring us are meal,very strange?.as tight as money is all I need to do is go home to my rude Husband and have him serve me my meal,it would be the same. more

This has got to be the worst ""Mexican"" food since Taco Bell, but hey at least TB is cheap! The food was very tasteless and bland. They try to pass it off as 'authentic' mexican cuisine. We had been to this restaurant once before and decided to go tonight for drinks and dinner. Drinks were pretty good, food is ok, lots of it but not very tasty. Very tiny parking lot. After dinner we didn't want to hold up the table to so my friend and I walked to her car, which was in the lot and were talking, a lady pulled up and asked us is we were leaving and we said no, not yet. One of the waiters from the patio tells us that there is a ""limited parking time"" and we needed to leave. I cannot believe the nerve of these people. Of course I went in and told our waitress what happened, and that it was unacceptable and that we of course would not be back. Merely OK Mexican food; the margaritas are good but not what they were five or so years ago. The ambience is pleasant and (non-valet) parking is a big plus. A DISTURBING NEW TREND: too many kiddies there lately. Since when is it OK to drag infants and toddlers into a dark restaurant with a full bar? Such places don't scream ""family restaurant"" to me. My girlfriend and I have been to this place more than a dozen times and every time we go the host has been completely rude to someone. Well this time it was us... if you ever go here and I suggest you don't, but if you do and it is busy and you are given a number - pay close attention - this host will not find you if you are in the bar (dropping $$$) and will skip you and move on without apology nor care. He actually asked us to leave because I called him out on his mistake and I asked to be seated immediately (there were 2 open tables). I have never been treated this way in my life. We just bought a house in Burbank and wanted to try out, what appeared to be, a cute family Mexican restaurant, which we always pass by when going to our new home..... boy was I wrong! My wife and 3 year old son came in to get a meal and were served well by our waitress, however, my son was a bit fussy that day and was crying. We settled him down after a while and finished our meal and as I walked out a heavy set man with white hair who I was told was the owner approached me extended his hand out to shake my hand in and said to me with a smirk ""never come back here again"". I was speechless and embarrassed. A said welcoming to what I thought could have been our nearby family restaurant. more

The service is kind of ""egh,"" you don't get free refills on soda, but my roommate & I LOVE this place. There's never a wait- AWESOME, there's always parking- even ""AWESOMER."" The inside actually looks like an Italian restaurant to me which is hilarious... but it's cute inside & you can have a good conversation. Food is always good, they're good about refilling chips. Many a great night & great discussion have taken place at Mucho Mas. Home away from home for us broke actor/screenwriter types. :) more

We are regulars at Mucho Mas. We are a family of two seniors, two mid 30's and a 6 year old child. This restaurant is SUPER FAMILY FRIENDLY and the service is excellent. We eat there at least once a week and love to eat there because we are treated like family. The servers all go out of their way to make my elderly parents feel special. They make a big fuss over my daughter, when we eat there, it's almost embarrassing how much we are fussed over for coming in. They are Wonderful!! I was very surprised to see the review that referred to this place as not family friendly since my child is NO angel and they always treat her like a princess. That's why I'm mentioning how well we are always treated there. My parents eat out every night and they wouldn't go here if it wasn't THE BEST. If my parents get treated poorly at a restaurant, they won't go back. We are constantly telling the owner what a wonderful staff he has. They are truly great people who have the customer as their top priority. It's our favorite family restaurant. The enchiladas are super flavorful, the tacos are full of fresh meat and cheese, the salsa is super fresh and homemade, the margaritas are generous and the tortilla soup is full of fresh cheese and chicken and vegetables. The prices are reasonable and the service is second to none. Take the word of someone who eats there on a regular basis, not someone who ate there one time. This was my first time at this restaraunt, and I'd always wanted to try it because it seemed so inviting. Beware, if you have children! They will make you feel like a criminal if your sweet child makes a peep, as if they were never children at some point. What kind of restaraunt does this? Especially one that claims to be a family restaraunt. No one has ever mistreated my family and I so poorly at a dining experience. And just to rub salt in the wound, it cost us almost $100 to dine on very average food for two adults and two kids!!! I came here for a group lunch. My enchilada was huge! Their salsa was chunky and tasty, and our service was decent. There was quite a bit of parking in the rear. more

When my husband and I arrived with our 11 month son, they refused to seat us in the regular dining area and said we could sit in the bar even though there were empty tables. It was 9:30pm and they close at 10:30pm. When asked why we couldn´t sit in the 3 empty tables that looked available, we were told because they were tables for 4, 5, and 8. I was shocked! Since the bar was packed and it was loud with people drinking, we left. I am very disappointed that a neighborhood restaurant would treat its patrons this way. We had been here twice before and like the homecooked food. However, we will never return and neither will anyone that we know. more

The margaritas are pretty good here and the food is OK. It's great for smokers because of the covered patio. However the service at Mucho Mas has steadily been declining over the past 5 or so years I've been going there. Overall I recommend this place. Just be patient waiting for another margarita. I felt I needed to jump in and defend this wonderful restaurant. Great food, greater prices, great margaritas and wonderful service. The friendly staff has always made us feel welcome. As there is two sides to every story, I suspect there is more to the negative reviews than is presented here. Contrary to them, this place is kid friendly. More like family friendly.
