i have been using this dry cleaner for several years now. earlier this year i went in for drop off and asked them if there was anything to pick up. I seemed to remember vaguely dropping off some clothes but i could not find a ticket. nope they said. i used their services a couple of times after that. around june i dropped off a few items. recently i returned to pick them up. the customer ahead of me left out. i tell her my name and she finds my ticket in the systems and proceeds to look for my items but can't seem to find them. the customer ahead of me returns. his tuxedo shirt is missing. tuxedo guy demands her full attention and insists she find his tuxedo. she tells me to leave my info and come back. i refuse because if tuxedo is waiting, then so am i. who knows when i will get back. she launches an intensive search for his shirt that takes her out of sight. tuxedo guy goes behind the counter & conducts his own search. tuxedo insists she call charlie, the owner, & ""get him down here"". she attempts to call charlie but seems unsuccessful. she looks for my clothes again, but this time tells me to look also as she spins the conveyor thing. WT_?! this thing is moving too fast. i don't know if i should be looking at the ticket for my name or a number. i don't realize, yet, that your clothes are instantly recognizable even without a ticket. soon enough. she tries to convince me that i picked up my clothes and the ticket was an old one left in the system. but i know better because i am here with a specific pair of slacks in mind. she starts a different conveyor & i instantly recognize my clothes! only there is no tag on this huge bundle of clothes. she can not be sure they are mine, but she is sure they are not the correct price she saw in the computer. & so tuxedo guy & i wait for charlie. he arrives 40 minutes after i first arrived. immediately he looks for tuxedo guy's shirt. he does not find it. the woman again tries to talk me into leaving my clothes that i can now see, with no tag, & return tomorrow for them. i get charlie's attention. he glances at my clothes & looks in the system for my ticket. immediately he goes to a different area & gets the clothes i am there to pick up. what are these mystery clothes that are mine too? could they be the missing link? are they the ones i tried to pick up earlier in the year? the woman insists on pricing the untagged clothes. she again tells me i can come back tomorrow. in fact she gets downright rude with me. the only reason she wants to price my clothes is so she can get that MONEY! its all they care about. i refuse to leave. she acts as though i can not afford a $150 dry cleaning bill?! tells me that i did not pay for at least 2 items during her hurried pricing. i should be grateful. after all i spent an hour in this dry cleaner to get 2 free items! i make $56 an hour, they are expensive but i hardly think she took $56 off my bill?! she snatches my checkcard for payment and continues to argue with me. tuxedo is still there because they still can not find his shirt. i try to explain to her that i would have never gotten hundreds of dollars worth of clothes if she had not known what she was doing & spun the conveyor that held my ""lost"" clothes. clothes that had no tag or identification whatsoever. she doesn't get it. & they don't get my business. i left tuxedo there looking for a $100 shirt he had left there 2 days earlier. they lose clothes. its that simple. i saw clothes on that rack that were dated 2006. receipts that were faded they were so old. do not patronize these greedy, rude people.
