Welcoming with a community feel and easy to get to 12/13/2005

I was here for a Cajun Mardi Gras community event and concert. It was suprisingly easy to get to from Seattle! The large downstairs area is kind of like a big ballroom and there is a small kitchen attached which is perfect for catering! There are bathrooms on the main level as well with a good entry way for coat checking or an admissions area. It is all very roomy yet cozy and homey feeling. I didn't check out the upstairs however. The surrounding area is nice as well with the park across the street as Molly mentioned. more

Nice Neighborhood Locale 11/11/2005

The Mt. Baker Community Club is a great place for an event this size. It has a kitchen and parking and I have attended everything from Ballet Lessons, to Funerals to Weddings here. It is a blank palate so you will need to decorate. They have tables and chairs for rent. They also have two levels of space - the upper level is for smaller groups and the lower is for larger groups. Overall a nice cozy feel in a great neighborhood accross from a park. more
