I brought an old Ampex reel to reel from the 60's to Mark at Mr. Wizards and he eventually was able to bring it back to life since I had two machines (one to draw parts from). He was very polite, and I am very pleased with the service. I will definitely take more equipment to him for repairs. Service is very good here and they are always polite. Two thumbs up. Don't forget that they're not open on Mondays though. Check their hours before going. Pros: Very Knowledgeable with Tons of experience Cons: Possible long wait times due to high demand more

They can fix anything. 5/15/2007

I've been taking tuners, VCRs, receivers, and tape decks to Mr. Wizard's for almost 30 years. They always have been able to repair the item and always stand by their work. Pros: They can fix old components or new. Plenty of parking. Easy to get to. Centrally located. Cons: They have lots of work, so sometimes they may not be able to get to your component immediately. more
