I have my transmission serviced at Mr. Transmission of Marietta at intervals recommended by Buick. The process is always efficient and timely. I drop my car off for maintenance, go to lunch, then pick it up after a couple of hours. The team review their findings and let me know of any potential problems they spotted while working on my car. I took my car the because my tranny felt like it was stalling I thought I was going to need a need one but it was only a c1 connection charged me 100's less than I thought and even told me about another issue and recommended me to a good mechanic. Kudos!!!!! more

I can not say enough good things about this company. A few years ago, I got stuck in a blizzard and blew out my 4th gear. I then drove the car about 800 miles home. Needless to say I had done a lot of damage and needed to have a rebuilt transmission put in my Toyota Camry. They took care of me. They even took me back into the shop to look at what they were talking about. They didn't talk down to me and made sure I understood what was going on. Well my check engine light came on a few years later and I took my car over to have them take a look. They did a diagnostic and found the car had a slight issue. Though my warranty had expired last year, they still made good on it. I found this place to begin with from a friend of mine whom had nothing but excellent things to say about them. Since my first experience with them, I've been the same way. I've told anyone that mentions they need some work done to check this place out. more

I paid over $3000.00 to rebuild my transmission, less ten a year 7 months later i find out that they did not properly replace a wiring harness. I get stuck out of town...Do they want to help? No. It ends up costing me over $1000.00 due to their workmanship! When calling them on the repair, they also play a "Shell Game" telling you they are someone they are not! KEEP AWAY! more

I originally took my car that needed transmission work to one of the most reputable german auto's repair shops in Atlanta. That shop didn't do transmission work so they referred me to Mr. Transmission. I stressed the fact that I would only do business with an honest company and they assured me that I couldn't go wrong with Mr. Transmission and they were right! After speaking to Mark about the issues I was having with my transmission, I instantly felt comfortable that my car would be treated with extra care. He was very professional, thorough and genuinely honest. He handled everything involving the warranty company. I am the type to be skeptical of service shops because of being burned in the past but I didn't have to with this company. All of the good reviews were right on the money. I will always take my cars to Mr. Transmission from now on!! more

Well I recently moved across the country and towed my travel trailer, fully packed. After everything was settled I took my truck (2005 Dodge Cummins) to the dealership for a free oil change. Somehow I let them talk me into a transmission "flush". Not long after picking my truck up from Ed Voyels Chrysler Dodge it began leaking tranny fluid. Took it back and explained to them no matter how simple the task was that it didn't leak when I brought it in, and now it does. They "diagnosed" it and told me that my rear main seal was leaking oil but not bad, and they pulled my tranny temp sensor because that (supposedly) was my leak. Took my truck home and yet again began leaking. Took it back and showed them where, and what was leaking. Long story short, the dealer wanted $1300 to change the front pump seal on the transmission, and the rear main seal (which has nothing to do with a transmission). I declined service and drove a block down the road and talked with Mark at Mr. Transmission. He was great, he explained he understood the woes of dealing with dealers especially Ed Voyels. Told me they would take a look at my tranny for free. Also he informed me that "flushing" (what the dealer did) rather than just draining and changing fluid will cause more problems. When he called me back he informed me that my transmission was overfilled and simply leaking from the vents. Also they reinstalled my temp sensor, all for no charge. These guys are honest, have integrity, and do business the old fashioned way; with a handshake. I highly recommend them. They won't take advantage of you like Ed Voyels Chrysler Dodge tried. more

I do not know ANYTHING about cars other than I need to put gas in it to make it work. So when I broke down on the side of the road and AAA towed my car to Mr. Transmission I was very nervous and upset. They were so sweet and friendly. They ran a free diagnosis and did not charge me a penny because I did not have a transmission problem. They even recommended me to a great shop to get it fixed. Ladies this is a place to go if you have car problems! I would definitely recommend this establishment! more

Had a 2004 GMC Sierra worked on. It stranded me 225 miles from Marietta 2 weeks later. I had to tow it to another Mr. Transmission in Albany, GA at my own expense. When I got to Albany to pick my truck up, the mechanics were using my truck to move a huge tool box. I then drove 60 miles further south and it starts pouring transmission fluid again. Now they want me to tow it back to Marietta AT MY OWN EXPENSE so they can work on it again. Sounds like I need to buy my own tow truck. I am not happy at all with the response I got and doubt they would either if the shoe was on the other foot. more

My transmission was leaking and I did not know where to look for help.I contacted one company and the guy told me to get a tow truck to drop my vehicle off and he strongly advised me not to drive my vehicle. I felt as if he was trying to get me in his office so that he could start billing me sky high prices. I contacted a friend and and she told me about Mr. Transmission in Marrietta. I contacted Mr. Tansmission and I talked to Mark the Manager and told him what was going on. Mark told me that I could drive my vehicle as long as I kept fluids in it. Mark was very honest with me and showed a genuine concern for me although I was not a customer at the time. He also proved that he was knowledgable about the work that he does. I dropped my vehicle off at Mr. Transmission of Marrietta and I was contacted by Mark the next day. He informed me that my transmission was bad and that I need a new one; however, Mark and the guys at Mr. Transmission conducted some research and discovered that my vehicle was covered under a extended warranty and informed me that I would not have to pay for the transmission. I was happy to hear that because I was not in a position financially where I could buy a new transmission. The guys saved me a ton of money and headache. Mark even went the extra mile to drop my car off at the dealership while I was at work. These guys are the best at what they do. I would reccommend them to anybody. Thanks for all you've done. more

Back in January, I brought my 2002 Isuzu Rodeo to you with red transmission light blinking furiously. You immediately diagnosed the problem and provided a well-documented cost estimate, bracketing the high and low ends of the continuum and giving a rough guess as to the actual anticipated cost. Your repairs came in at the price that you anticipated and the work was completed on time and with due care. Unexpectedly, my red light flashed again this week. On a moments notice and despite quite a backlog of vehicles, your technicians looked at my car, gave a proper diagnosis and assured me a more complete review within 24 hours. And as one would hope, you delivered on your promise and though the flashing red light had nothing to do with the work you did in January, your staff attended to the problem at no cost giving me full confidence that your service was, in fact, exemplary and that you stood behind your warranty. Mr. Transmission of Marietta really took care of me. They kept me up-to-date about the car. They showed me what was wrong with it. A friend I worked with turned me on to them, and I was very pleased. I didn't have to worry about my car when it was with Mr. Transmission. They kept it locked up, so no one could get a hold of it. I have taken my car to other places, and I was worried. If I get any other car, I will definitely get them to check it out before I buy it. They explained what the problem was, met the quota, and I never felt like they railroaded me on anything. They rebuilt my transmission, and they really took care of me. I have told the mailman, a neighbor, and a complete stranger about them already. This is the 4th time I have had to have my transmission done. The last time the guy did it for about half the price, but he didn't put all the bolts back in. It messed the frame of my car up so badly that I couldn't even open the passenger door. Now that I took it to Mr. Transmission they put everything back the way it is supposed to be. It is like I have a new door. There should be more companies like this one, out for the satisfaction of the customer instead of just getting money. They even helped me find a loaner company. They kept me posted on the progress of the car and told me where I should go to have the engine checked out. I wish I had known about them 3 years ago because I would have saved myself a lot of trouble. It is like having a new car.
