Purchased a 3 year warranty for $350 after having my transmission rebuilt at the Hunsinger location. Less than 2 years later, a dash light alerted me to an issue. The shop told me that the faulty parts were the TCC solenoid and 4th pressure switch (both parts on the transmission). However, they weren't covered by the warranty because they were electrical. The warranty states, "failure or damage due to a faulty ekectrical system." The parts were faulty, not the car's electrical system. Another Mr. Transmission shop reviewed the warranty and told me the parts and labor should be covered. \r

I ended up getting the TCC solenoid for free because they had already repaired it without my permission. However, it should have been free in the first place. Basically, I have a $350 warranty that will last another year and a half, but is worthless. \r

My advice to anyone thinking of taking their car to this location: check out the BBB (Hunsinger has a B- rating). Other Mr. Transmission
