Mr. Transmission of Jackson is awesome, they did a great job and I'm completely satisfied. I called them, stated what was going on with my car, which at the time was at another place. Mr. Pond, was able to get a tow truck down there to pick up my car, diagnosed the issue and had my car back to me within a day or two, completely fixed the problem. They're friendly, respectable, and knowledgeable, I highly recommend them. more

Even though they had a backlog, once they checked my vehicle, they determined quickly it wasn't a transmission issue but a front wheel bearing problem. Their service and honesty was very... 6/27/2018

Mr Transmission of Jackson got me back on the road within a week periods my 2004 Trailblazer broke down on Highway 25 on the way to work on a Monday morning. they even towed the vehicle for me. They did a diagnostics test and told me what all was wrong my vehicle. They rebuilt the transmission and put a rebuilt torque converter on there and it's been running smoothly just like the day I bought it. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They call you and let you know what's going on with your vehicle while they work on it. And give you the time to think about whether not you want them to repair it. They have nothing but excellent service there. Thanks Mr Transmission of Jackson for getting me back on the road. more

Mr Transmission has the best technology And employees. Brought my 2004 trailblazer in on Monday and it was ready to come back home by that Friday. It runs As smooth as it did the day I bought it. Literally As good as the day I bought it. Would recommend to everyone. Just have your pocket book ready cause you will have a hefty bill when it's all said and done. more

My highest recommendation. 8/10/2016

I recently noticed a transmission leak in my 2014 Chevy van. I spoke to a number of local repair shops and had the problem "diagnosed" as everything from needing a front seal to a "complete(?) " transmission overhaul. Try as I did, I could not get a comfortable feeling about what I was being told. I was referred to Mr. Transmission by a trusted friend and mechanic who had himself done business with them. I was most favorably impressed by their courtesy, knowledge, and complete professionalism. The results of their computer diagnosis, road test, and examination revealed a minor problem which they quickly fixed. By the way, the actual problem was one that all other shops had not mentioned. Mr. Transmission could have very easily taken advantage of my lack of knowledge and my fear of a major problem (read: skinned me!), but they did not. They earned my trust and loyalty and my highest recommendation for customer service. Whatever your transmission problem, go to Mr. Transmission first. They will save you much stress and concern, and most likely money as well. more

Great service 6/22/2016

The customer service at Mr. Transmission was excellent. They have very straight-forward, very fast service. There is very good communication and I have no complaints. They did things more quickly than I had imagined. This was my first time using them, and as a matter of fact, I have another vehicle there right now. more

A Good Experience 4/22/2016

Mr. Transmission Jackson got us back on to the road after we broke down on our way to California. It took them about 5 hours to get us running again. I think the prices were reasonable. The mechanics were professional and very accommodating. I would recommend Mr. Transmission Jackson. more

Great company 3/24/2016

Mr. Transmission Jackson rebuilt my whole transmission. They tore the whole thing down and replaced any parts that were worn or broken. This was my first time using them. I was really pleased with the work they did. I did a lot of research. I've done a lot of mechanical work in the past and was happy with the results. They were honest with me and there was a very quick turnaround. I brought my car in on Wednesday and I had it back on Friday. I would use them again. more

Never was happy with this 3/18/2016

Took for ever to get my truck back on the road. Not to mention I paid over 2,000 in cash to get everything redone new with my transmission and not once not twice but three times within the past seven months. I put right under 18,000 miles in all during the 3 fixes. It's been at this body shop more than it has on the road and to say the least if I had to get anything done to my vehicle it surely will not be with this company ever again. Not trying to make anyone with this company mad, just want people to be treated right. more

Excellent service on a timely basis 3/9/2016

Dealing with Mr. Transmission Jackson was a very pleasant experience. I met Jay and asked him about my car's transmission, and he said to bring it to him because he can fix it--and he did. I have a Mercedes C280, and he did a wonderful job. Everything is just like he said it would be. He had to rebuild the transmission because it stopped shifting from one gear to another. His communication was very good: He told me exactly what he needed to do and he did it; he told me what price it would be, and it came in at exactly what he said it would be. more

Excellent experience. Went the extra mile for customer satisfaction. 4/22/2015

Took in my 99 BMW528i for transmission rebuild. The work was done quickly and very professionally. I had a recurring problem shortly after that no one including BMW could figure out. I took car back to Mr Transmission and they went the extra mile to find the problem. Found it fixed it and funny enough, it was not an transmission problem. Thanks guys great job more

Courteous and Prompt! 4/3/2015

Mr. Transmission has been my go to mechanic for the past two years and they are awesome. Whenever I have problems with my car, and whatever they are, they solve the problem very quickly, without me having to wait days and days. They fix it on the spot and their repairs actually work and last. They bring me no inconvenience whatsoever and I appreciate that. Their prices are reasonable and I highly recommend them! more

Appreciate the honesty and great care 8/8/2014

Had a daughter at a local college who had issues with her car. Saw the reviews for Mr. Transmission so came over. So thankful for the honest evaluation of the car by Chris and Jay. Turned out was not a transmission issue and they were able to recommend a good engine service place in Jackson. Appreciated the attention given and the honesty. Tendency is to think most places, when recognizing out of town folks, would see an opportunity to take advantage. Not here. This place is worth the visit....you will not be disappointed. more

Second Time Customer 6/5/2014

My 2013 VW Passat developed a slave cylinder leak with only 55K miles on it and the factory would not warrant any part that works along with the manual transmission. I called over five places before Mr. Transmission said, "Yes." They were prompt and qouted me within $43 of the actual cost. The only problems I had were a warning light telling me that my left daylight running lamp was not working even though I know that it was working when I took the car in and some screws to the air intake that were not put back in place after the repair. This is my second time using Mr. Transmission, the first time was to put a clutch in a Nissan Frontier that I bought new and put about 218,000 miles on it. I never had a problem out of that clutch again after Mr. Transmission. more

Fast turnaround! 9/17/2013

I took my truck for inspection and the problem was diagnosed the same afternoon. They had no problem giving me time to weigh my options, and when I decided to have the repair done it was ready for pick up the next day! I would not trust any other transmission repair shop! more

I am extremely pleased with the professional results. 9/13/2013

We had a late model car that had a transmission issue, or so we thought. We took it into Mr. Transmission for service and they were very professional. They observed the vehicle and found a problem that did not require a total overhaul of the transmission. Chris worked on that and was very impressive and helpful. They were very honest and upfront and saved us a lot of money. I had worked with them years before. They know what they're doing and it's worth going to them to have the reassurance that the work being done is being done in a professional way and that you're not being given some work you did not need to have done. more

Blew my mind 12/11/2012

I haven't picked up my car yet, so my rating of "quality" is a bit premature, but they have just been so helpful this far. After a horrible experience with the local toyota dealership, the people at Mr. T have kept me in the loop, been extremely friendly and informative, as well as super fast. This is the place you want to take you vehicles people. more
