We have ordered in from Mr. Sushi on several occassions. They are perpetually late and this time it took them an hour and a half to get the food to our apartment. (you can walk there in 15 minutes). The always forget the salad unless you specifically ask for it though it's included with the main dish. Go there for the food but FORGET ORDERING IN! Pros: cheap food, ok quality more

Flavorless fish, not very fresh, tastes like it's been frozen. Watery, flavorless miso. I think this must be prison food in Japan. The only fish-related stuff that's palatable here is heavily doctored with spicy mayo and other flavor-masking ingredients in rolls. Don't eat the sushi or sashimi. Cons: bad food, old plum wine, really bad music. more

Terrible service 10/4/2003

Me and my acquaintances frequently order food for delivery from many boston restaurants. We especially enjoy japanese and thai cuisine. I have ordered from Mr. Sushi at least ten times. They have delivered old edamame, salads with no dressing, the wrong rolls, etc. The last time we tried to place an order we were told that they do not deliver to our location (7 min. away by car). Even after I mentioned our frequent orders to their establishment, they stood firm on their denial. It goes without saying, we are not ordering from them again. The quality and service of other japanese/asian restaurants in the area are well worth the money! Pros: cheap Cons: service, quality, freshness more

Great value; impeccable fish. Though neigborhood restaurants like Fugakyu may have superior presentation, it comes at a substantially higher price. more

Exquisite taste, everyday price 7/23/2002

A friend and I reward ourselves for going to the gym with lunch at Mr. Sushi on a regular basis. The food is delicious, quickly served and cheap - you just can't beat it. Pros: Inexpensive, Fast Service, Freshly made Cons: Hard to find parking, Limited Seating more

Priced to please 5/14/2002

We love Mr. Sushi for the high-grade fish priced low enough that we can eat here any night of the week. It's not cheap, but it is affordable. We like that. For a variety, order the sushi boat to share. more
