Declining quality of sushi 12/23/2008

I used to be a regular at Mr. Sushi, but now, as some reviews have noted, the quality of the sushi is in steady decline. I would have recommended Mr. Sushi (in Arlington) to friends as a consistent, decently priced sushi joint in the past, but lately (starting around late 2008) the sushi has become so bad that I cannot in clear conscience recommend it to anybody. Offers pots of sake! 2/22/2008

Mr. Sushi has a great selection of specialty maki rolls, which for me, sets this sushi restaurant apart from the rest. The speciality rolls can get a bit pricey ($8-$14 each), but they do offer some great combo meals that give you some great deals for the speciality maki rolls. Pros: specialty rolls, offers POTS of sake, easy parking... Cons: atmosphere- tables a bit cramped, not a very romantic atmosphere more

decent sushi, reasonable price 8/9/2006

The sushi here is quality, but doesn't set itself apart from the number of sushi restaurants out there. What sets this place apart is the all you can eat buffets, Tuesdays and Thursdays I believe. (Each night is a different special) With this menu you can eat all you want until 9:30, from a select menu (no specialty rolls, or anything too pricy - just the basics) With the quality of ingredients, this is still pretty cool! Pros: good ingredients, nice service, plenty of room and parking Cons: nothing special, prices are ok more

Good food, even better service 4/28/2003

This is the newer branch of the original Mr. Sushi restaurant in Brookline. I was very impressed with the friendly and attentive service of the wait staff. Prices are reasonable and the fish is pretty fresh with a wide selection of maki rolls. Finally, this restaurant is very accomodating to big groups and families w/ small kids. Pros: wide dining area, friendly service, easy parking Cons: toro not served daily more
