Rip Off 4/7/2009

Had water coming in basement drain. Called Mr Rooter next day guy comes. Goes down to basement pull plug and sees water. Hey your main drain is plugged up. (Genius) I cant put my tools in there with there being water in it, but I do have a tool I can use to clear it out so I can inspect it but its kind of expensive. How much? Well its a tool that uses air and it will cost $450, then I will have to put my camera in, and then try and fix it. I told him no thanks before I spent $6-$700 I would get another opinion. Well thats what anyone else is going to charge you. I called a local plumber, he came right over fixed the problem in a little over an hour.....$120. Pros: Came out quickly Cons: Uh.. your main drain is plugged up...(do you think) more
