1st I'd like to start by saying that all the 1-star-ratings are the same guy with the same complaint. He copy pasted the same complaint on every "reviews" website, obviously it's fake or something. Plus if you look closely at what he wrote, the company actually helped him...and weren't the ones that made money off him. Oh well. Anyway, I had an extremely positive experience especially from Dan S. This place gives me a better value that any auto shop or box store, and they are quick too. Most of my time there was either talking to the expert, or playing Pac Man drinking free coffee while they worked on my car. They are very honest with their work and will give you free advice on issues related to your driving and your tires if you ask. WHY NOT GO TO THE GUYS THAT ONLY WORK ON TIRES IF YOU ONLY NEED TIRES. it's a no-brainer and you can even pull in for a cheap used or plug if you have a flat and need to get back to your day quickly more

Editorial review from Citysearch 4/30/2014

Very quick, very affordable. Probably more value than any auto shop or box store for tires. Not to mention they are faster, more honest, and provide you with some helpful knowledge if you ask. Good for not only new tires (about half what I pay at chain stores) but also if you get a nail in the tire and need a quick fix. more

They may come off a little obstreperous to some but these guys are professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about their trade. I received a good value for my moola and I highly recommend them. more

The best 9/29/2011

I have been dealing with Mr P's on Hwy & Layton for over 25 years. I have sent family & freings to Rick & they keep going back & also tell others. They know their tires & they take care of any problems that may occur. The price they give you is what you pay- it is complete. more

Best in town, hands down! 8/23/2010

I've been using Mr. P's at the Hwy 100 location for nearly 20 years. Rick and Steve have never treated me with anything but respect and they have never tried to rip me off because I am female. They know that their business is built on reputation and referals, they are honest and tell it straight like it is without sugar coating it. If you are used to being stroked by the people you do business with, you find that here, just honest guys telling you like it is! I'm going in for a set of 4 tires next week, don't even need to shop around, they have the best prices in town! more

Just to quickly comment on the previous bad review from the guy who said Mr. P's didn't want his business. I just happen to know from being in the automotive industry that reputable tire experts will not sell just two tires on a 4 x 4 truck, even if the other 2 tires are fairly new. All four tires must be replaced at the same time due to liability of transfer case damage. That is the only reason a tire place should not mix and match tires, why else would a place not want someone's business??? Maybe steering clear of a place like Sears who obviously don't care what they sell to people is a good idea. That guy will think he got great service/deal until he's forking up $3000 to replace his transfer case. Pros: Knowledgeable staff, fast service, cheap prices more

Stay away, terrible customer service 9/4/2009

I stopped in looking for 2 truck tires as I already had 2 new tires for my truck and the service person obviously didn?t want to deal with me as his comment was ?you would be better off at Sears? which thankfully I stopped at next. Sears was a much better experience than the obnoxious and callas way they treated me, obviously they don?t need the business. Stay clear from this place. more

Have been going to Mr. P's for many years for my tires. Rick & Steve are very knowledgeable and their prices seem to beat everyone elses. You are usually in & out in very short time. Even though they are busy most of the time, they treat you with respect and pride themselves with giving you a fair price. Have recommended them to many friends and co-workers. more
