Mr Move

Two words: LEGAL RANSOM. Not only did the owner mislead us when we booked them, but the he also threatened us over the phone, several times that day, kept increasing the price, screaming at us, demanded obscene amounts of cash, and told me he was having me arrested. He was so horrible that I actually fainted, hyperventilated and ended up getting rushed to the ER, because I was pregnant. He knew I was pregnant too. He ordered his drivers to take our stuff to his warehouse, and they admitted to us that they do this all the time, to couples. So if you had a great experience with him, either he thought you didn't have money, or you're single. Don't ever book with this company. The 2 initial movers he sent were instructed to take their time. It took them almost 8 hours to load our 2 bedroom apartment into their truck. The only reason we got our stuff back the next morning, mostly unharmed, was probably because the owner found out I fainted because he was screaming threats at me, and had a stress/panic attack. more

A horrible company to work with!!! We agreed on a time for them to make it to my storage unit before closing time, and they arrived an hour late. They tried really hard to work slowly and milk the clock until myself and friends decided to start moving our own furniture in order to save time. We then caught the guys discussing milking the clock while on an unauthorized cigarette break. Needless to say, they missed my storage facility and then, stole my furniture. I had to call the police, only to be informed it was a civil matter and I'd have to sue. When i called them to retrieve it, the OWNER cursed me out and told me to pay $1500 for a $400 job, or he would throw my "trash" in the dump!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CHEATS AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! more

Hired Mr. Move from Craigslist to move ab0ut 13 items from a small apartment. Was quoted $88 fee, $88 for the 1st hour then they said they would pro-rate the next hours down to the minute. This should be a quick move, down the street, a couple of hrs. (Amanda?) Assured me that they were very professional movers. Was told they would only take check or cash and would honor a check from my bank. They loaded the furniture and ripped 2 different sides of my sofa in the process. Upon arrival at the new location they demanded cash & told me NO checks. They called their office and (Woody?) told me I had to pre-pay for 3 hrs & they had not even started on the 2nd hour! I told him this was not right & Woody told them to leave with my stuff. They drove off & I called the sheriffs dept. Woody called me back to inform me it would now cost $2400 to get my stuff from their storage. In the meantime they were pulled over by the sheriffs dept wh0 couldn't do anything except verify paperwork more
