Mr. K's Chinese Cafe

Mr.K Cafe is a amazing Chinese Food Restaurant. I enjoy the service here very well. I love the orange chicken here. It very tasty. The Thai food at Mr. K Cafe is very good too. I enjoy my Pad Thai. I even enjoy the Vietnamese Pho they offer. I am Vietnamese and I had to say, for a Chinese restaurant, they made pretty good pho. It beat many pho places in Germantown Maryland. My favorite part of Mr.K Cafe is their Bubble Tea! They make it so good. They offer Milk Tea, Tea, and Smoothies. I try many flavors and I love them all. For Bubble Milk Tea, my favorite is Black Milk and Thai Tea! Strawberry, Taro, and Lychee is good too. For Bubble Tea, I enjoy the Lychee flavor tea alot. For smoothies, my favorites are Strawberry, Taro, and Lychee. I think their bubble tea is best in town! more

I absolutely love Mr. K's! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is fantastic. I have tried many dishes from their menu and have never been disappointed. My favorites are the Chicken Drunken Noodles (just don't order it extra spicy!) and Crispy Beef. The crabmeat wontons are also very good, as are the Hunan beef, pork and chicken (yes, I've ordered it all three ways!), fried rice, pad thai, twice cooked pork, egg rolls, egg drop soup and wonton soup. \r \r I've gotten both carryout and delivery, and on at least one occasion when I had to wait 10-15 minutes for the order to be ready, they gave me a free bubble tea (also very good!). Deliveries have never taken longer than 20 minutes. \r \r I highly recommend Mr. K's to anyone looking for carryout or delivery Chinese or Thai food in Germantown. more

I absolutely love both their Chinese and Thai!! They have completely remodeled the restaurant, and the staff is so nice and friendly. They even made me chicken noodle soup exactly how I wanted it with the thicker noodles when I wasn't feeling well. As a professional Chef with discriminating tastes, and many years of experience with many local restaurants, this one has got my business for life as of this moment.\r \r I have started going to Mr. K's Cafe within the last year, and have been very happily surprised with many of their dishes.\r \r I have only had one problem with their food, and they made it right for me without question. Got an order of overcooked Combination fried rice, returned it, and their Manager Jessica was very willing to make things right, and gave me an extra large order to replace the first one. \r \r Their spicy shrimp wontons are magnificent, and they will make them exactly as i like if i ask (extra spicy and not sweet), Their Crispy Shrimp Rolls (Thai Style) have been consistently excellent, and they provide an excellent spicy/sweet dipping sauce to accompany them. \r \r Have always enjoyed their egg drop soup, and recently got an order of their wonton soup and found the Broth very rich, and deeply flavored, instead of what i call dishwater at some other places i have been. I have also become a real fan of their Miso soup, and have not found anything i could ever critique about it, other than i do love it.\r \r I have had their Thai Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp & lemongrass soup), and again, was always very favorably impressed. Excellent flavor, good color, nice fat shrimp in it. I have also had their papaya salad once, and again i was very favorably impressed.\r \r So far, i am a very, very happy customer, and I would gladly recommend this cafe to many other people, and look forward to trying many more of their dishes. \r \r Their customer service and manager is always excellent, upbeat, warm, friendly and well spoken. \r \r They are willing to be flexible and make things to special tastes which is always an excellent plus.\r \r \r Thanks, Mr. K's ! \r Enjoy ! more

I love that I can get Thai and my husband can get Chinese. The food always is fresh and tasty. The quality suffers a bit when the food is delivered so we usually dine in or get carry out. The service is very friendly and helpful. more

Better than any other bubble tea place in the area! My wife is a bubble tea addict who is very picky about her bubble tea, she won't go to any other place for bubble tea it's so good here. This is THE best place for bubble tea that we've been to, they use real tea leaves to make the tea and the tapioca balls are made fresh daily. Doesn't have that weird powdery taste like other places that make their tea from powdered tea. more

The food there is made great and when I need to take food on the go, its made quickly and taste great. I particularly love the bubble tea there and the chicken with rice there! I go there around 2 to 4 times a week. I recommend this place for everyone who want to experience fast great tasting food thats a reasonable price. more
