Very Pleased, Excellent Staff 5/1/2017

I recently went to Mr. Handyman Serving Greater Jacksonville when I was in need of some basic maintenance work on my home, and I was very pleased with how quick and efficient the workers from Mr. Handyman were. The workers were very friendly and courteous while they were here, and were able to get all the maintenance work done quicker than I had been expecting. Overall I thought Mr. Handyman serving Greater Jacksonville did a fine job with the work I needed, and I would definitely use them again. more

Good Customer Service, Low-Quality Work 4/26/2017

I have used Mr. Handyman several times now. I appreciate that they are always on time and come prepared with the right equipment. I know Mike, and he is always professional and very friendly. All of their staff is kind and really professional. However, I do have issues with the quality of the work done for me. I have had several tile jobs done within a one-year period and none of them were done correctly. My tile is loose and moves around under my feet. It seems like they just did not lay the tile properly. The price seems high for what they do. I think I am willing to pay more for high quality work. However, it seems like I paid top dollar and did not get top quality. If it was rated on customer service alone, I am very happy with that. But, they need to improve the quality of their work. RESPONSE FROM Mr. Handyman serving Greater Jacksonville: Scott - thanks for the feedback. We don't make excuses, we stand behind our work and take steps to correct anything that's wrong. Since receiving your feedback we've been onsite to view your situation. You do have loose tile and that's a problem we need to address. We've schedule a return next Tuesday with appropriate material to remove, reset and re-grout these tiles on your bathroom floor. Once we have some tile up we'll get a better feel for what happened (floor prep issue, mastic/adhesive issue, something else?), and were prepared to redo the entire floor as needed. Quality Service For A Reasonable Price 4/18/2017

Mr. Handyman always comes in and does quality work at a really great price. Each time, they are very good about picking up the right materials for the job that needs to be done and bringing those materials exactly where they need to be. I find their service to be very convenient for busy people like me. I am always very pleased with their reasonable prices. more

Stand by Their Work 4/3/2017

I have already recommended Mr. Handyman to my neighbor because of the great work they do! They are very trustworthy and have been out to my house several times now. I decided to remove some wallpaper in my bathroom, and after trying it myself, called them up for the job. They came out to answer any questions I had for free and provided knowledgeable and helpful service! They then did the work in my bathroom removing wallpaper and painting and once again did a great job! I am very satisfied! Furthermore, after they were finished, they were sure to call back just to make sure everything was still going well! I will definitely be using them again based off of how trustworthy they are. I also greatly appreciate that they really do stand by their work. You will get what you pay for! more

Said They Could Remove Mildew, Didn't Follow Through 3/20/2017

My experience with Mr. Handyman was OK, but they kind of misrepresented themselves in my opinion. We had asked for someone would could remove mildew and they led me to believe that they could, but when the guy got here he said he wouldn't be able to do that. What he did do was fine, but we weren't really satisfied with the way they presented themselves. more

I saw information on Mr. Handyman in the Florida Times Union newspaper. To use a local company was what I wanted to do! After being "burned" in past experiences, I felt that I would have a professional company to call. Jeff was sent to our home and we were so impressed with him-as a professional and as a person we could talk to. And we felt comfortable having him in our home. The small jobs he did were perfect! And, we are now in the midst of a larger job! The exterior work on the house was so needed and I am so pleased as it is being done now! The list of work is not finished. Thank you, Mr. Handyman, for being in Jacksonville for my family! And for employing experienced people like Jeff! more

They Are Awesome 2/8/2017

I have to say that the people that came out to my house from Mr. Handyman serving Greater Jacksonville are awesome. They were very polite when they arrived at my house, and showed me their badges so that I knew who they were which I really appreciated. They did a very good job estimating what needed to be done and stuck to the price that they quoted me which was nice. They just really worked their butts off for me and did a really great job. I think that they deserve more than 5 stars, if I could I would give them 10! more

Good work! 1/26/2017

I called Mr. Handyman serving Greater Jacksonville last year to my house for the first time. My set of double sinks in the kitchen were getting cracks, and they did the replacement job for me. They also replaced the cabinet tops attached to the sink. They were nice and did good work. In fact, I was so satisfied with the job that I recommended them to my neighbor. more

Mr. Handyman did a great job. 1/4/2017

Mr. Handyman was great, I randomly found them through a magazine or print ad I think, and I contacted them to replace a door and doorframe. They had gotten rotted, the old material was wood and Mr. Handyman replaced the frame with some PVC material that will never rot. They were awesome, the quality of work was excellent and the price was right. Happy with them, and I'd recommend them! more

Very reliable and punctual, do great work, schedule quickly! 1/3/2017

I've been using Mr. Handyman quite a bit recently. I like using them because I know they're reliable, and with them I know what I'm dealing with. They know me, they're familiar with me and my situation, I call them by their first name and they call me by mine, it makes me feel very comfortable. We had a hurricane come through recently, I have several rental properties and they did some repairs on siding of one of the houses. They did a great job as usual. They're very quick, and because I have rental properties I'll call them to set an appointment and then they'll call my tenants to arrange the time that's best for them, and my tenants have been very happy with them. They are a little bit more expensive than just going with someone else, but I feel their reliability and quick response is worth a bit of extra money. I highly recommend them! They're really fantastic. more

He never slowed down 12/19/2016

The thing that I really liked about the guy that came out to my home from Mr. Handyman serving Greater Jacksonville was that he was non-stop. He legitimately never slowed down the entire time that he was in my home, he just went from job to job knocking them out one by one. He worked very hard for two straight days to get everything done that I had requested. His persistence and dedication to work hard was very impressive to me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to have some projects done because he will get them done without taking a break. more

Great service 12/5/2016

The guys from Mr. Handyman Serving Greater Jacksonville have done a bunch of different stuff for me. The last time I called them out because there was some mortar missing around my fireplace chimney and he filled it in for me. He also did some caulking. The time before that, it was a different guy, he replaced some rotten wood by my chimney. He did a very good job. I really like working with Mr. Handyman, the guys are always dependable and know how to solve a lot a problems that need to be done. I would recommend them. more

Very thorough and great work 11/29/2016

I liked Mr. Handyman for a couple reasons. They were very thorough in going over the work scope and pricing before they did any of the work. The actual work itself was really good quality! They had experts come out for exactly what they needed. I had a minor roof repair, I had damage from a storm, they had a people who were knowledgeable on roofing come out to do the repair. This was my second time using their services, I would use them again again. more
