Mr C's towed my car off of Palm St. Not the parking lot but the street. My receipt says I was parked in a 4hr permitted zone. There are no signs at all on Palm St. Stater Bros takes up the whole block. My car was towed on a Sun. at 11:40 pm. Everything is closed in the plaza at that time of night except for Denny's & the donut shop which is on the other side of the parking lot. The guy at the yard where my car was being held told me my car was towed because I was parked on private property. There were no signs saying Palm St is private property. Monday morning they were out there at 7:00 am putting up signs on the fence across the street from where I was parked saying Private Property and no parking. I'm confused though. I thought Private Property had to be maintained by the Owner. I guess the owner has the hook up with the city because the street cleaner comes down Palm St every Friday. This happened on July 15, 2012. I would be interested in knowing what is the zip code of other people that have been towed away. I drive by the plaza a few times a week and I have seen cars parked on the side of the street where they just posted their signs. Just last night there was a car parked in the very same spot I was in from 6;00pm to after 3:00am in the morning. On July 28, 2012 my daughter's car was towed by Mr C's from my neice's apt. complex which is also in Bellflower. She was having a Bridal Shower. The visiter parking in front was suppose to be ok for her guest, just so long you didn;t pass the gate and park in someone elses stall. She was the only guest that was towed. What are the odds of that happening. My list of greivences with Mr C's is endless. I have started with the Better Bussiness Bureau and urge anyone that has been abused by them to file a complaint with the BBB. I'm also open for suggetions
