Maple Plain Food Center has their own brand of coffee. I am addicted to it. It is roasted and locally in Buffalo, MN. It is fresh and is better than Starbucks and Caribou!!! Plus it is more affordable! You have to try it! more

Small town store so its not as big as Cub or Rainbow, and can be a little more pricey. However the staff is fabulous! Always smiley and helpful, and they really get to know you and go out of their way to make sure your shopping experience is good. The bakery is wonderful, all their treats are homemade, not shipped in like at other stores. They don't have a ton of variety, but for being a small store they do alright. Last but not least, they carry your groceries out for you! more

Bakery is Great 6/24/2010

Everything that they make in the bakery is great...buns and bars especially. Every morning they make fresh donuts -- not many places do that any more..not 'trucked in' like gas station donuts! more

great meat dept. 1/30/2009

Since they switched from Supervalue to Shurfine things aren't quite as good as far as adds are concerned. This is the only place I get my meats. Meat is outstanding. Excellent butchers. Consumer oriented. If they don't have it they'll try to get it for you. more

OK for a small town 11/3/2005

This store is lacking in unique selections and its prices are pretty high. They do have a nice gift area with Precious Moments, Over the Hill gifts and funny coffee cups. They also have a dollar isle where you can buy off-name items for $1. Their weekly flyer will usually have one real bargain item, sometimes two. Most of their prices are higher than Cub and not as much quantity available. So some items may be gone by the time you get there. The staff is very nice and helpful. They will take your groceries out for you with a smile. The parking lot only has one exit so be mindful of that if it is your first time there. more
