Good: I like the point system thing here, it seem so quick you get free concessions or a free movie ticket. The building is well kept, and I used to work here so I know they are fussy about the cleanliness and professionalism.. Bad: The cost, I know it's a newer building but the prices of movies are a bit high. I can deal with that though. They don't tolerate loud people here and thats a MAJOR plus!. Improvements: Nothing much really.. more

The Crossroads Cinema at Portage 3/16/2006

Hi, Everyone living in Kalamazoo and Portage know about the Crossroads Cinema at the Mall. After it opened last year, it has been getting popular with every passing day. The seats are quite comfortable and the price is pretty cheap too. The best part about it are the matinee shows. The matinee shows cost about $4.00 each and are the best to watch. So, if you haven't been to crossroads...its worth a try. more

The nicest theater in town! 10/6/2005

My husband and I went on our first date at this theater 15 years ago. So, I was a little sad when they remodeled the old UA at Crossroads. But, I went back to see how they improved it and- WOW!! The theaters now have stadium seating and the seats are absolutely luxurious for a movie theater! They partially recline and are heavily padded, even with padded armrests! Of course cup holders are included as well. I have not yet seen the new lobby, but I'm sure it's wonderful as the outside looks great! more
