Movie Tavern-Bedford

I try to go weekly on Friday night to The Movie Tavern. After working all week, I look forward to my night out and I get a chance to lean back in very comfortable chairs, order food that is delicious and enjoy the movie. I highly recommend Movie Tavern and have always had great service. My husband and I love the place and look forward to going each week! more

I go to this theater once in a while when they are showing something that I can't see elsewhere. The seats are VERY uncomfortable, the floor is uneven so you can trip in the dark, and there are lights on all over the theatre where people are eating. When I asked if they would turn them off, they said they leave them on so people could see their food, but even those people were trying to block the lights. We go there almost every Thursday night....and love it!! The tip is to go a bit early and order your food if you want it to get to you before the movie starts....if you order later, your order will be a bit long in coming and interrupts others as well as you while watching the movie. Hi this was the first time i had gone to the movie tavern. I spent about $60 dollars ordering food and drinks on me and two others. It took them like half way through the movie to actually get my food out and by then the two ladies had already received their meal and where done with it before i even got mine. I had just received my drink about five minutes prior to that. I had a $20 dollar gift certificate that i used to pay part of the tab I paid $20 dollars and cash which made it about $40 dollars even i then used my debit card to pay the rest i was charged twice once for the rest of the tab that was $20.62 which was left on the tab and then i was charged a second time for 10 dollars. I was not given a receipt for the second $10 dollar charge. i will never dine at the movie tavern again and recommend that if you dine at the tavern you do not use your depit/credit card. Pros: The movie prices where good Cons: The waiters where rude and charged me extra to my depit card which is illegal. more

We went to the Movie Tavern for the first time to watch X-Men. The theater has a great concept---you can order food/drinks from servers who walk the theater during the movie. My complaint is that I ordered drinks and never got them. I reordered drinks and still didn't get them. I then ordered drinks along with some food--i got them 25 minutes later. I don't recommend going their intending to enjoy the wait staff or food. The admission was cheaper than average, so I'll go back.......just not hungry or thirsty!! more
