New York City Movers -Movers - Moving & Storage came highly recommended to me from friends at my office - when I called, the guy who answer the phone (Mike ) had this quick respond type of representation (the way I like it) - he didn't waste any time - he knew the building I was going to move into - he knew how long it's going to take- and most important he made me feel comfortable : he was honest and this guy knew what he was talking about - every scenario I asked about - he had a direct, straight forward answer . The price was fair - and it was a guaranteed price – Mike explains how this system is better the hourly charges - and what can I say? It makes sense. The day of the move came - and the guys arrived 10 minutes early. The head guy - Lenny (I hope I got the name right) filled up the paperwork with me - and the next thing you know - this guys started to run up and down the stairs in a chain system. now, this no joke, I had a lot of stuff and everything came down 6 flights of stairs, this guys didn't stop for a break - even item that wasn't so important - they wrapped and protected, Lenny (the head guy) was commanding the guys and they obey for what ever he said with respect. It was like watching a Special Forces platoon in action. when we got to the new building the superintendent was kind of fussy - he start giving us attitude both me and the movers - but, again Mike handle the situation in the coolest way - the just kept working till the super came down. At the end - I was very happy, and when I gave them the tip - they all thank me. I'm telling you - you don't meet people like that every day. We had the pleasure of having Noah?s Ark move furniture for our business today. Moving and pleasure are not usually used in the same sentence but this was a totally different experience than your normal move. Having been in business for 22 years as a corporate housing provider we move furniture from one location to another on a continual basis. At first we tried moving things on our own; that was a real disaster as were most of the moving companies we?ve used over the years. We just happened to stumble upon Noah?s Ark when searching on the internet for yet another moving company; hoping against all odds we would eventually find a company we felt was fairly priced and/or did a good job. Our search is over; not only is Noah?s Ark fairly priced the men were fantastic. We have another moved scheduled next week; it?s the first time in 22 years we?re not dreading moving day. I don?t usually write letters of recommendation. A phone call and a quick thank you maybe; but our experience with Noah?s Ark was so superior to any other moving company we?ve used in the past I felt it necessary to take the time to let others know there is a company out there that does as they promise.
