For anybody moving from Birmingham or to Birmingham, I'd recommend them 5/30/2013

I've been a customer of MoveDaddy for about a year. They've delivered excellent performance, on time, get the job done, and a rate that is more competitive than others in the business. Sean has a good group of people. If I could rate higher than a 5, I would. Even though the company is less than 5 years old, they operate like a company who have been in the business for 30 years. more

Would not recommend-check out "Better Business Bureau" because of numerous complaints 5/30/2013

We recently moved to Destin, Flordia and used MoveDaddy.com. We looked at their website and had them to come to our house and give us a quote. They were very nice until our furniture was on their trucks, then their attitude changed! They doubled the price from 2,500 to 4,500. ( the problem arose because they misjudged the amount of stuff that we had to move- but the manager insisted that it would only take 1 truck- we asked several times- "are you sure") When we question the up charge, the owner, Shawn Payton, became furious and extremely rude! He demanded that we pay the full amount in cash or he would instruct his employees to turn around, put our furniture in a secret storage place, and wouldn't deliver it for another 10 days which would jump the price up to 10,000! We called the Destin police and they informed us that they couldn't get involved because it was a "civil case"! It seemed that "moveDaddy.com was experienced in pulling this scam! The owner didn't care that there were no banks open on Saturday. He called He had his trucks to turn around 15 minutes from our house in Destin and took it back to Birmingham! We had gotten the cash wired from American Express and we begged him over to deliver our stuff but he was angry at us for calling the police. He screamed obsensities, called us liars and refused to listen to anything! Their website looks very impressive but "Please BeWare"! more

Last month I needed to move into storage because of a leak through my roof. Move Daddy was the right choice for me! They accommodate my needs from A – Z. Sean at the office was very nice and helpful. On my move day Jovaris the Forman and his crew arrived on time and were very professional and respectful. They secured my shipment and everything was delivered to me with no damages or scratches. Highly professional movers! more

I decided to hire Move daddy for my move from Cahaba Heights to Inverness in Alabama. From the beginning of my move to the end they took care of my furniture’s very professionally! Their representative at the office was very polite and helpful. On my moving day, the movers arrive on time and loaded my stuff very fast and efficient. All my furniture were delivered to me on time and organized in my new place. Everything went smooth and fast as I hoped. Highly recommended! more

Recently I moved to my new house in Chelsea, AL with Move Daddy. Sean at the office truly professional and was very patient, always willing to help. I called him at least 20 times to make changes in my item list. On the move date Nate the Forman and his crew arrived on time. They were very polite and knew their job very well. All my items was picked up very quick and careful. Very professional team! I definitely will recommend Move daddy to all my friend and family! more

Excellent, professional and well-done. 5/7/2013

MoveDaddy.com was excellent from start to finish. Sean is a hands-on owner, he came by while the move was going on the make sure that everything was OK. A couple of days later, after we had unpacked, he called to follow-up and ask if anything had been damaged. I have worked with other moving companies in the past who have broken or cracked a few items and did not follow-up, so I really appreciate that he called me. Sean is a very easy person to work with, he asks all the right questions and is very responsible. If there is a problem he is willing to work with you to resolve the conflict and create a positive outcome for everyone. You can't go wrong with MoveDaddy.com. more
