We had inquired about their services for my client's wedding and it felt more like a sales pitch when we met with the owner. She promised the moon and the stars and the day of the event, she fell short. She had a family emergency and left the event in the hands of an assistant, who seemed to have a hard time getting a hold on things. It was far from a smooth transition. They have a sales trick where they want to have you pay the balance of the bill the day of the event when they pack up and leave and what it really is for them is an opportunity to gauge you on your bill. My client had the final bill taken care of by her parents and an extra $230 was added on. This was found out after the event was over and my client asked how much the check was written for. When she had gone to try and work with the owner to get the money refunded, she was told that they supplied "emergency plates, napkins and forks" and that it wasn't included in the $5k they had already paid. (For that kind of money this should've been included.) Bottom line, my client didn't get the money back and was told that those things aren't free. Shame on Moveable Feast!!!! Take your hard earned money elsewhere, otherwise you'll regret it.
