Mountlake Terrace Community Center and Aquatic Pavillion

The Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion is one of the best places to have a kid's party. The party rooms are large and have cute painted motifs. There is a large gym you can rent or have a private party on one of their outdoor fields. I love the indoor pool since it is very kid friendly with toys and lifeguard-supervised activities. The indoor playground is a great place for children 5 and under. With lots of party packages to choose you could get a great deal, however, it could get pricey if you get carrier away with the add ons. The only negative thing I have to say is that a couple of the lifeguards are not as polite as I would like. more

This pool was recommended to us from a friend who invited us to take the kids for a play date. We love this pool since and been taking our kids for leisure swimming. We also enrolled our daughter for swimming lessons. The instructors are very professional and work well with kids. The pool maintains an 88 degree temperature and provides all the safety equipment such as life vests for all ages, floatation and water toys. more

I've been taking my daughters to this swimming pool for the last 2 years. The pool was referred to me by a friend who enrolled his daughter for swimming lesson. I soon enrolled my 3 year old in the same swim class. The instructor might be young, but are very knowledgable, works well with kids. The pool maintains a 88 degree in temperature, has all the safety accessories, floatations and most important --- life guards are always on duty. The pool is available for party rental as well. I can't list all the good stuff about this pool, you'll have to come an experience yourself. more

This community center is so cool- the pool has numerous parts- a big lap pool, a river for floating around in, small shallow pools for swim lessons and a huge kiddie pool that has slides, tons of toys, waterfalls and fountains. The kiddie pool has variable depths from 5 inches to three feet and all of it is covered with this soft, non-slippery rubber padding. the best part is how available the pools are in terms of hours open. the kiddie pool (called the leisure pool) is open every day for a minimum of 5 hours and mostly more like 7 hours which means no matter what your kids' nap, there will be a good time to go. In addition to the swimming facilities, there are drop in swim lessons for tots, childcare twice a week so you can swim laps or take a yoga class, a variety of classes and drop in sports, a cardio room, a fabulous indoor play room (with a ball pit) and an outdoor playground.
