Unlike ""zachbob"", I have nothing but good to say about this company. Since the school closed, the board of directors and artistic staff have the time and means to concentrate just on the productions and what a difference! This last ""Nutcracker"" was amazing! The new choreography and costumes make the whole show wonderful from beginning to end. My two children have been involved for 3 years now and they love every minute of the Mountain West Ballet productions. In my experience, the dancers are scored fairly at auditions and are given parts and choreography appropriate for their ages and abilities. The shows are far from boring--they are a joy! Sounds like zachbob might just not like the part he got once! Pros: beatiful dancing, great choreography, gorgeous costumes Cons: not enough people know about it more

I do not agree with Tourjete. Since Paul, the previous director left, Mountainwest ballet productions have become quite boring and the dancers are of a lesser quality. And to answer Tourjete's rude comment, Zachbob is not a dancer and unfortunately is a little too old to become one! Cons: Poor quality of the dancers, rude people that work there more

The teachers are wonderful and very positive. They are excellent with instruction and very supportive. The performances are very professional and have given me valuable experience performing on stage. They are great with kids of all ages and teach us to be resposible and encouraging to our fellow classmates. I would recommend this studio 100%. more

As a participant in several MWB full-length ballets, I can, with the utmost confidance, recomend this studio, not only as a place to learn the art of ballet, but as a family friendly learning eniroment. I am very impressed with the staff, and the productions really are top notch--not to mention very entertaining.\r \r The teachers and directors are excelent, and they cater to a wide range of ages and abilities.\r \r I can see myself becoming a better dancer through the instruction that I have received from Montein West Ballet. I recently saw Ballet West's 50-year Anniversary production of the Nutcracker. I also saw Mountain West Ballet's production, and I have to say that MWB's was far superior as far as pure entertainment. I also have a daughter who studied at MWB's school then went to the Ballet West Conservatory. She will be returning to MWB in the new year. I highly recommend any fan of ballet and classical ballet technique to check out this company. Pros: Positive environment, Enjoyable!, Professional attitude more
