In 2005 Hospice of Surry County, Inc. and Northern Hospice of Surry County merged and Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care was the new name chosen.Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care provides hospice services to terminally ill patients and their families in 16 counties from 7 locations in North Carolina and Southern Virginia.
