CUSTOMERS BEWARE! The mechanics at Mountain Home Auto Ranch are the sloppiest mechanics i have EVER dealt with! OH and just FYI...if you look up Mountain Home Auto Ranch in the Better Business Bureau, you will see that the rating they received is an F. 13 customers complaints were filed against them in the last 3 years and 8 of the 13 complaints have not been resolved. Here is my experience with them... On Feb 23, 2009 vehicle was brought in for transmission service, fluid flush and filter replacement. Service was complied with and documents state ""Leaks no longer present."" Well, i drove the vehicle home that evening and found a puddle of transmission fluid under the engine the next morning. I immediately brought back the vehicle and complained about the leak again. Turns out that they did not tighten down a hose clamp after they serviced the system, so of course it pissed out fluid everywhere. On June 02,2009 vehicle was brought in to have brake pads & shoes replaced. MH Auto Ranch replaced the pads & shoes and also machined the rotors and drums. Service was completed and i picked up the vehicle later that day. On the way home, i tested the brakes and found them taking WAY TOO LONG to completely stop the car. On top of that, the brakes started squealing loudly after 1 hour of driving the car in town. Their brake job made the car very irritating & unsafe to drive. I took it back the next day and they said that the problem was the after-market pads & shoes that i bought from SCHUCKS were too thick (even though SCHUCKS ran the computer to find the match for my car). I ended up listening to the service advisor and went for the MOPAR pads & shoes and she said that she was going to tell the mechanic to make sure the brake job was PERFECT. What a bunch of CRAP! 1 Week after the brake job, brakes started squealing again! That same day MH Auto Ranch did the brake job, they found the coolant bypass housing to be leaking anti-freeze. Had them go ahead and fix that, but now, 5 months later, vehicle has the same coolant bypass housing leak problem. Oh and by the way, it's STILL leaking transmission fluid under the hood! This very moment, the car is at the Larry Miller Chrysler dealership in Boise to fix what the Mountain Home Auto Ranch FAILED to repair. This is my first time dealing with Larry Miller and i'm hoping that they have better mechanics that will finally take care of these problems instead of just sucking me dry of my money.
Cons: Poor quality & sloppy mechanical work.No attention to detail
