All the veterinarians are tops and have been responsible for keeping all of my longevity challenged dogs alive a *long* time. My 14 year old dog (Border Collie / Golden Retriever mix) is still going strong thanks to Mounds View.\r \r I am not sure how they compare price wise but I would venture a guess to average to above average? As the staff is all above average if in fact there is a premium I gladly pay it.\r \r My main vet is Dr. Barkus (appropriate and real name) who is a vet and son of a vet. He has a genuine love and concern for animals that is matched only by his skill as doctor and surgeon.\r \r I can't recommend Mounds View Animal Hospital - the absolute best animal hospital in the Twin Cities. Note they also offer grooming and boarding. more

I have to literally drag my dog in here, but that's just because she's a smart chicken...\r \r I have used this vet for over 10 years through the end of my cat's life and since the beginning of my dog's. Dr. Schnabel is kind and thorough. He doesn't pressure/guilt you into spending money on extra tests when your pet is sick. He lets you know all the options and then make the decision yourself. \r \r The vet techs and desk staff are all friendly. The waiting room is large with magazines, a fish tank, and some toys for little kids to play with. They also sell many types of dog or cat food along with some other accessories. more

We wanted to Thank you for the care you give our pampered pets.... but especially the care you gave Wags in her last days. You know how much she meant to us. I can't tell you how much the flowers and card you and your staff sent meant to us. The fact that each and every one of you took the time to sign the card was such a nice touch. You might not realize this, but getting her little box of ashes back home to us so soon (less than a week)was just one more way that you showed such love and respect for our little girl. You and your Pet Hospital are a Class Act! more

Thank you Dr Femrite and staff for taking such wonderful care of Tucker following his being attacked. You all made such an effort to put him and us at ease, immediately followinf the attack and in the weeks after. He is doing wonderful and healing , still a bit stiff at times after stitches came out , but all in due time. more
