I wouldn't suggest taking your motorcycle here to have it worked on. I took my Suzuki cruiser here to have the front tire replaced. I took the tire and a spare inner tube in there to have the job done appropriately.
When i went to pick up my motorcycle the first thing that i noticed was the valve stem cap was missing, i asked one of the employees about it and he had left in lying amongst a pile of mechanical nuts and such on the countertop. How do you forget this when this is part of the element of the bike that you are working on?
So as i was installing it, i noticed that one of my bolt hole chrome dress up covers was missing on the lower forks where the work was done. I asked the Jeff and the guy that worked on the bike about this, they both claimed, it was missing when i brought my bike in. I cannot say 100% but i know it wasn't missing when i left the house due to the fact that i shammied the bike over its entirety, cleaning it up a little, just prior to departure.
I always pay particular attention to stuff such as this and i would have noticed it during this cleanup time, for it there is an bolt hole in the lower fork that claims ""here i am""...
As i was paying Jeff he began conversing about my choke problems, he claimed he could not get the motorcycle running easily. I told him that he needed to turn the choke counterclockwise locking it in place for he thought it was malfunctioning. I have never had any problems.
After i got down the road several miles, i noticed that my gas tank was dancing all over the place...here is where i put 1+1=2 together, he apparently being a man of heavy stature leaned his body weight on my gas tank to maintain balance while looking at that choke earlier.
For he had completely compressed my rubber tank cushions underneath the tank to the point that that the tank would shake all over the place from left to right for this support structure was ruined.
By this point, i thought, it isn't even worth going through small claims court for this amount of money spent there. I just knew i would never take my motorcycle back there.
Well after about 2 days, i went to ride my bike and the front tire was completely flat, apparently they had punched a hole in the inner tube while installing the tire.
Why they did not correct the issue by installing the inner tube that i had provided them with is unknown to me.
Wow, it's almost worth going through small claims court now. This is utterly ridiculous.
So be fore warned do not take anything belonging to you to this place.
