Editorial review from Citysearch 4/25/2013

I bought a 04 CBR 1000RR a year ago from them and thought i was getting a good bike. I have recently started taking my bike apart to upgrade parts and while doing this i m finding lots of things you don t see just by looking. Gas tank is dented, random broken pieces(which where motly cosmetic and no effect on bike operation). After i purchased the bike they said come back in a month to get the front tire changed for free, but when i came back they acted like they said nothing. My mirror randomly fell out 4 days after i bought it and when i went back to get it replaced, they grabbed a random used mirror from there back shelf(which broke a few months later), not to mention all he screws used on the bike where random(definately fit, but not made for there spot) and/or very rusted. My key was invery bad shape(bend very easily) and eventually the key for he back seat lock broke. Prior to the break and a week after buying the bike, I took the key to them and asked them to replace... they told me they won t replace it and that i had to take it to the dealership for duplicate. Very dissappointed in them, all they care about is getting thier money and after that they can careless about the customer. Strongly recommend going somewhere else. more

I WILL COME BACK HERE EVERY TIME 4/4/2011

when i woke up this morning i had a flat tire on my suzuki blvd. its a big bike and everywhere i called gave me super hi prices. i called about five different shops before i saw the motorcycle city website. it says $45-$75 everywhere else told me $100 for my bike they only charged me $125 for my tire and $75 to change it on top of that they were the only shop that agreed to pick my bike up from my house for only $25. i have recommend this place to all my friends and will return here for all my motorcycle needs. I TOTALY dissagree with the user below i am a man and they charged me $75 this is a great shop 10 STARS more

Scammers!! 3/4/2011

I went to get my tire changed today-March 4, 2011 and they said it would be $75 because they had to take off the saddlebags and exhaust of my 07 Yamaha Vstar 1300. I said that would be fine because it would be extra work. Their price on their website for a rear cruiser if $45. I watched them from start to finish and they did not take off the saddlebags or the exhaust. They still charged me $75!! I tried to dispute it but he stated that it is the normal price for a cruiser and he had to use a different method to take the tire off. That different method was him throwing a jack under it and raising it up untill the bolt dropped below the exhaust. I have filed a report with the BBB and am waiting on the outcome. I think they charged me $75 because I am a woman. more

motorcycle city 4/15/2010

Before i bought my motorcycle, I was searching all over San Diego. i should have checked my own backyard. Motorcycle city was right down the road. the first time I visited the shop they didn't pressure me into buying a bike. They spoke with me asked me what i was looking for showed me what they had. If i was looking for something in particular they would be happy to find it. But when ever i went to purchase my motorcycle they explained everything to me i was very inpressed Pros: Best service center and customer service Cons: no drawbacks more

Shady dealership - Spammers 11/16/2007

These guys are shady. They are spammers and love to threaten people that call them out on their shady business practices. Their service department charged me $250 for a carb rebuild and to fix a leaky petcock. The carbs were out a sync when I picked it up...and it still leaks. They claimed it was a non factory carb. I took it to Lee's and they fixed everything for less than $100. Pros: Parking Cons: Questionable bikes more
