Motor King Auto Sales

My daughter and her new husband needed a car that was affordable and reliable because they have recently married and he is stationed in Kansas with the Army. My daughters husband is low key, gotta love him. The car was affordable and reliable--but Motor King also had another car that was on the lot-same make and model. They signed all the paperwork-and had to leave for Kansas. Motor King had started calling them telling them that they needed to come back because they signed the paperwork on the wrong car?? HE is in the Army-not a possibility!! He cannot up and leave 2 fix a mess up that Motor King made!! They have repeatedly- asked him to mail the correct paperwork or even fax it-NOTHING!! They have been pulled over because the tags were expired-because they cannot get tags-they have the WRONG paperwork! The car was impounded because this happened on the base-and they had to pay 300.00 dollars to get it out of impound and fines. He threatens them that he is going to report the car stolen-but little beknownst to him-I as well have copies of the originals they signed--ON THE WRONG CAR!!! Let him try. He did this same situation to my husband and his title years ago! This guy needs to close his doors because OBVIOUSLY-he does not know how to run a business.!!If I have to drive down myself to get them back to Ohio to press charges on him--SO BE IT!! This has been ongoing for 2 months to long! Now-they cannot come back to get the rest of their stuff because there tags are expired!! I will b calling the better business bureau as well as driving down to get them to press charges!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Sure, the guy was very nice all the way through the part where I paid cash in full and drove the car off the lot. HOWEVER, a month later once the temp tags had expired and I hadn't recieved the title or plates, found out they hadn't filed the paperwork yet after calling the BMV. Had to drive to BMV to get another temp tag so vehicle could be driven. The guy at Motor King was a jerk and quite rude when I showed up to find out why the paperwork hadn't been submitted within the 30 days. He was very mouthy and unprofessional when it was his fault. Said they were ""too busy"" to get paperwork submitted in time. Then said he'd mail the title when he got it back and to ""go roll your eyes somewhere else"". Acted like it was my fault that they can't run a business properly. Too busy every day for a month straight? Not a chance. Just plain incompetent. Guess he figured he got my money so now he can be as rude as he wants and file the paperwork whenever. Now I have to wait for this jerk to mail my title to me and hope he actually had the brainpower to submit the paperwork for the plates as well. more

I don't understand unhappy people!!! You buy a used car you get a used car! It is your fault if you don't check the car out ahead of time ( before purchase!)! Jack is a very nice guy and very easy to work with, he wants customers to come back!! If you're interested in one of his cars...try it out and check it over!!!! If you really like it but is has some issues tell Jack..he will go out of his way to comply with your requests, and make it right!! My son has bought 2 vehicles from Jack and is very happy, as well as myself, and several family members....I would proudly send anyone to go see Jack at Motor King!!!!! more

Hello to all,\r im writing this to say im on my 3rd car with motor king. I have been buying cars from them for over 3 years now. I would not go to any other place. If they dont have what i want they will find it. I have had some small problems with one of the cars i bought from them and they took care of it with no problems. So if you are looking for a good used car try them first, you wont go any wear else after that. more

DO NOT BY ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY.\r \r \r i bought a 1992 pathfinder, the Frame is completely rusted out, and have fun getting your title, never ever ever buy from motor king,, they rigged this thing up enough to get it gome. .. my mechanic deemed it unsafe to drive. \r \r \r RIDE A BIKE BEFORE YOU BUY A CAR FROM JACK AT MOTOR KING more

Jack was wonderful to deal with. I have bought a lot of cars through a dealership in the past, but do to my husbands layoff and times being as they are had to have a good car and help with financing. Jack made the whole experience as if I were someone not just a low life without credit as some dealers did. We appreciated his helpfulness and honesty. There were some issues with the van and Jack took care of everythng above and beyond. I would recommend them to anyone! Pros: Super nice to deal with and very honest Cons: To many ""good"" cars to choose from more

Very nice people. They worked with me, immediatly corrected all concerns that I had. I felt as if they were honest and just trying to help good people out who maybe cannot afford a new car but need a nice car. He even agreed to purchase four new tires & have an alignment for me due to the a ""shimmy"" I believed to have felt. \r I personally read several reviews on Motor King and I feel that perhaps the persons upset with the dealership may not have been as honest as they could have been regarding thier entire personal sitation. Pros: Excellent at accomidating your needs Cons: Better buy what you want that day or it'll be gone! more

I must admit, I am always leery of on-site finance car lots, but Jack and the rest of the staff at Motor King made me feel like I was in my dining room instead of making a big purchasing decision. I bought a nice little car for a price I thought was fair and I could definitely afford and it's ran great every since. Jack even did the normal maintenance for me because I was having a tough time last month. \r \r The shop is not as pretty as an Auto Mall, but I was not buying the shop. I easily got the car without bank issues and it has been a good car. Jack has treated me great and I would recommend this shop to anyone...as long as you pay your bills. Pros: Nice people, good cars, low prices, easy credit Cons: they stay a little busy sometimes more
