I didn't really think Mother Bear's was that special at all. I went there because I heard rave reviews about their pizza, but was really disappointed. Their pizza is just like all other pizzas. It's really crowded! more

Great place to hang out and grab some breadsticks, wings and beer. Their delivery time is not as great as the other pizza venues in town, but why would you want delivery when you could enjoy it at the restaurants with friends! Pros: Great Breadsticks, Wings and Beer more

Pretty good pizza, very crowded and slow on my visits 1/30/2008

This is a very busy pizza place, sometimes there's a long wait for a table and for the food. The pizza is good, but the menu doesn't have a lot of variety. Other places in Bloomington have more to offer for gourmet or specialty pies. Service was fine; Atmosphere was typical collegiate. The location on Third Street next to campus is good, but there is extremely limited parking if you are coming from any distance. Pros: Pizza was fine, good location Cons: Slow! more

Best Pizza! 1/4/2008

I'm originally from Chicago and know my pizza! Mother Bears Pizza in Bloomington, Indiana has the best pizza in southern Indiana! Managers Mark & Kati make you feel very welcome and make sure the service you receive is second to none! Mark & Kati are the best managers! They also fill the duty of servers from time to time and I make sure I am seated at one of their tables for exceptional service! Those two make my experience at Mother Bears the BEST! best pizza around ! ice cold beer!, friendly sever,! and i love the bread stix's and salads for lunch with that great cheese & tomatoe dip. I like their cool tee-shirts more

This place has the best pizza in Bloomington. The breadsticks are also phenomenal. If you want to drink beer also, they have a special which is generally some form of Upland for cheap. more

Mother Bears is key 9/2/2005

If you are in the near vicinity of Bloomington, Indiana, and your stomach is telling you that it wants some food, hit up Mother Bears. I can't express how good their pizza is. They have a variety of gourmet pizzas, pastas, strombollis, etc... and the atmosphere that they provide is very unique. They truly are one of a kind, and they are very reasonably priced. PROS: Great food, Great atmosphere, Great Price CONS: Gets a little crowded sometimes more
