Need a cheap place to crash for the night 4/27/2006

I personally would never stay at this motel, but I have a friend that stays at them ALL the time when he travels with his family. He is a penny pincher and is always looking for a deal, and well, he found one when it comes to motels. He does admit that Motel 6's can be a little on the shady side, but he doesn't care because he says he is only there to sleep. He always tried to bargain with the front desk clerk when he checks in and he says that he can usually talk them down a few dollars in price. I guess if you're tight on money, and need a place to stay when traveling (just to sleep, nothing more), then Motel 6 is your place to stay! more

Cheap 6/9/2005

Right by the highway, this is a motel that always offers a low rate - usually about thirty dollars for a single per night - for the budget minded. The parking lot is not large but it is sufficient. The motel is not as near as some similar places to restaurants but there are lots of businesses nearby within 2-3 miles, including pretty much any fast food joint you can think of and a massive Super Walmart. Motel 6 is not known for luxury - the rooms are small but clean and they maintain a good standard of cleanliness. You can find a lot worse places that cost more so I recommend it. They generally allow pets, too. more
