Went to see him for some advice and orthotics for my pronation and arch problems. He didn't seem to know the difference between suppination and pronation (I had to remind him). ...

Went to see him for some advice and orthotics for my pronation and arch problems. He didn't seem to know the difference between suppination and pronation (I had to remind him). He then told me they didn't have the kind or orthotics I needed, but he never suggested where I might be able to find them. He just gave me a prescription for Motrin. He's a very nice guy (super friendly) but probably not the best podiatrist. more

personal touch 8/3/2011

I saw a podiatrist at Beth Israel for foot pain; he was ok but I was rushed into buying a nightsplint from separate brace co. The splint helps some, but the service markup was thru the roof. Dr. Mostone showed me treatment options: an rx gel sample didn't work, but he also taped and massaged feet, which gave instant relief and suggested insoles- tuff break, he had to order my size, but I have more confidence in his methods and "bedside manner"...a usually lost tenet of . professionalism, replaced by today's "McMedicine." more

Great, quick, polite! 8/31/2009

i found this site looking for Dr. Mostone's info as I was referring him to my girlfriend. Dr. Mostone's EXCELLENT. Really professional, he doesn't jerk you around. I had a toenail fungus that happened from a soccer injury that just wouldn't go away. we tried topical medicine first until it didn't work; then switched to an antifungal pill. I had basically given up on my toe looking any good, but sure enough, it is now as pink as the one on the other foot! Thanks Dr. Mostone. P.S. Did I mention his visits were 15 minutes!? and not for lack of work done. hardly had to wait in the waiting room, too. more

Dr. Mostone is fabulous! 6/8/2007

I agree, he really puts you at ease. And the skill this man has is top notch. He is so nice, and really cares about your pain and how to help. I also had an ingrown toenail that was mishandled, but he ended up fixing it, I don't know how he did it, and made me confident to wear sandals! Yay! Go see him if you need a great podiatrist, want to be comfortable, and be confident you are seeing someone with experience who also has great references! more

Going to a Podiatrist is never fun, but Dr. Mostone is outstanding! 9/9/2005

After a bad experience with Harvard Vanguard's handling of a simple ingrown toenail, I insisted on being referred to a podiatrist. A friend recommended Dr. Mostone and I got the official referral from my PCP. What a difference! He is outstanding. In addition to his clear medical skill/talent, he has a personality that puts you at ease during what would otherwise be an uncomfortable experience. more
