I went into this store with low expectations from the review's here, but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in, this store focused on comic books and that type of memorabilia as well as a few showcases of trading cards, all of which from my knowledge were in excellent condition and priced fairly, even a little cheap in comparison to stores like target in the mall (packs of cards were 5$ at target, 4$-3$ there). The selection was fairly broad but I was there to sell a collection I purchased at an estate sale valued at 200$. The owner offered me 140$ in cash and 40$ in trade, which was really a perfect price, since it would cost me about 20$ to have them packaged and shipped, and if the online stores didn't want them I'd have to pay to ship back, also I was going to spend at least 40$ there anyways. The owner wrote out a gift check for both the comic store and the gaming store at 920 Enfield St. Which focuses more on the card games as far as I can tell (I haven't been). This way I make a quick buck and he can make a considerable profit over an extended period of time. I called both stores and each was very helpful. While I was negotiating a price with him he had quite a few buyers, so as far as I can tell he gets some good business.
Pros.
1.Fair Prices
2.Broad Selection in both stores
3.Friendly staff
Cons.
1.They didn't have enough cash in the register when I showed up (granted it wasn't long after they opened and when I came back an hour later they had my money)
2.As far as I could tell only one person ran the actual comic shop with another running their Ebay business.
Overall an excellent store, I wont buy cards from anyone but these guys and ebay now, and if I come across more sets this is where I'll take them.
