I know why people have sworn off this place. People are RUDE here. Especially the Karaoke DJs who are there Monday through Tuesday. If they don't like you, they will lie about you and your actions. The worst part is that the owner will believe them. It's not worth going here. There are better places in Katy to drink where people are nice and not a-holes and dicks. I'd give this place zero stars if I could for the rude, nasty, trashy people you find there. It MIGHT be worth going here for other events that go on here but remember that the people running the place will believe lies told about you. I've been here recently twice. I left early both times. After paying a cover charge (really? they make plenty of money off the drinks, as crowded as it is), there was nowhere to sit, it took forever to get a drink, and some of the people were just RUDE. I am typically known for having fun wherever I am (life's too short to be cranky), but this place just makes it impossible. Every time I had to pee, it was like wading through a mosh pit, and people are quite rude about moving, even after a polite ""excuse me"" while trying to get through the crowd to the restroom. Both times I went, it was after I was invited by friends for special occasions. Won't be going there again, if I can help it. The one bright side is that Mo, the owner, is very nice. The best bartenders from the east coast to TX, I'd say even farther west but haven't been farther west. Seriously they are on top of the needs of their customers and make a point to learn your name and welcome you when you come in. The drinks are very reasonably priced and you know you've gotten your monies worth because they aren't weak like some places. I miss the other customers when I'm away, they are like a extended family. I went Sunday, when they have karaoke and I had fun with my friends. The drinks were a good price. The bathrooms were clean and had nice pictures up. I would post it but there is no link options. My friend invited me and I liked the atmosphere, I will go back again. Pros: cheap drinks, large area, laid-back, free parking more

Happy hour is great! After 7:00 the drinks are overpriced and the service is below average. The womens bathroom is a mess! I wonder if they ever check ID's at the door, as the graffiti in the bathroom makes you think of a bunch of high school girls! Pros: Great place for happy hour gatherings Cons: too crowded more

Nothing about Mo's is safe or convenient. I've seen several people taken away on stretchers after brutal cowboy brawls! One guy had a seizure on Saturday night and no one would let the EMT's in! The place is always too crowded. Good luck getting a drink. You'll need it. I've been going to Mo's for about 10 years and it only gets better every year..........Mo the owner is very friendly, loves his customers, is always there to make sure everyone is satisfied and happy...........he brings into his bar the best live bands..........he has live music from Wednesdays (which is Rock & Roll night) to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (which is live C&W music)..........and at least once a month brings in a new and up coming singer or the oldies but goodies singers......like Bellany Brothers for example......the bartenders and waitress are the best........so if u want to have a good time and meet the best people ever.......then mo's is the place to be........where friends gather............
