Mort's Palisades Delicatessen

My FIL lived in PP for 20 years and visiting him we went to Mort's. I didn't think the food or service was spectacular, just average (I've been to much worse delis), but the reason to go here is the history. There are many entertainers who live and have lived in PP and when Ted Knight (Mary Tyler Moore show) was alive and mayor, he used to hold court in this restaurant. It seems every LA deli is an institution, with its celebrity regulars. Mort's apparently is no exception.
