With so many other great places to get steak and seafood in St. Louis, there is little to no reason to go to Morton's. The wine list is good, but high priced to say the least. So the food...TUNA TARTAR was alright, the tuna was not the highest quality. LOBSTER COCKTAIL was good, fresh. SALADS: Copped was alright, nothing special, I've had better. The BEEFSTEAK TOMATO was not good. A restaurant that wants to be 4 star should know when to pull something off of the menu. The WEDGE salad is a fad that needs to die. But as they go she liked it. Now for the MEAT. The FILET OSCAR was over done but they recooked it and it came out right the second time. The CHICAGO STYLE RIB EYE was an alright piece of meet that was slightly overcooked to medium. I had asked for medium rare. The SHRIMP were very good. The NEW YORK STRIP was done correctly but was bland. A little salt and pepper before it touched the grill would have been enough to pull some flavor out. O well. The CREAMED SPINACH was sub-par at best. The mashed potatoes with garlic were fine but nothing special. The POTATOES LIONES were good. the desserts were alright, the Gran Marnier souffle was good. The raspberries were grocery store quality but good. I liked the cheesecake, but no one else did.\r

All in all it was disappointing to say the least. I will not go back and do not recommend that anyone else go there. There are so many other great choices in St Louis, make this one the lowest on the list.
Pros: Service was great.
Cons: Food was awful.
